Technology has become an integral part of human's life. It has transform the way we communicate, education and healthcare. A lot of individuals believe that the main objective of science should be to improve person's quality of lives. I partially agree with this statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a position, but the development is uneven. While the healthcare argument is well-supported with examples, the second body paragraph regarding other scientific fields is less developed and lacks specific examples. Furthermore, the conclusion is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence, which prevents a full summary of the argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that all points are fully extended and that the essay concludes in a coherent manner. The position is clear, but the lack of a finished conclusion impacts the overall task completion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'For instance', and 'On other hand' to signal transitions. However, the flow is occasionally disrupted by grammatical errors and the abrupt ending of the final paragraph. Paragraphing is present, but the logical progression within the second paragraph is slightly weakened by the lack of specific examples to support the claim about environmental and infrastructure benefits. The use of referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure feels somewhat mechanical due to the limited variety of linking words.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, with some attempts at topic-specific language like 'life-threatening', 'immunization', and 'extinction'. However, there are several word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'science has contributed many vital... equipment' (equipment is uncountable) and 'taking help of science just improving halth'. Spelling errors like 'halth' and 'spices' (instead of species) also occur. To improve, focus on using more precise terminology and ensuring correct word forms, as these errors occasionally make the reader pause.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('Doctor can diagnosis', 'peoples' health have considered') and article usage. The sentence 'It has transform the way' contains a tense error. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and the incomplete final sentence limit the score. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve the grammatical profile.
