These days, it is believed that the pupils from the science field should have an aim to enhance individuals lives. If questioned I highly agree to this statement and my inclinations will be discussed in upcoming paragraphs with valid reason and appropriate examples.
Examining the main reason to my inclinations which is, technology improves peoples lives and brings luxury to their living environment. For instance, science students more about technology and Artificial Intelligence which are the only way which helps to have any kind of information from any place of the world. Additionally highly qualified students who are preparing for becoming scientists can also do research on the space and find means of life there.
Moreover, students from science related area also becomes doctors which saves peoples life and cure them which is a big job to do.Furthermore, Engineers are also from the same field which make the instruments and machines which make peoples lives easier and enhance their living.
However, it can not be denied that pupils studying science have very hectic and busy schedule which also affects their mental health and stability. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of the statement. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention technology, medicine, and engineering, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The counter-argument regarding the 'hectic life' of scientists is relevant but does not directly address the core of the prompt (whether science's *aim* should be to improve lives). To reach a higher band, you should focus on explaining the 'why' and 'how' behind your points rather than listing professions. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'To sum up'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are issues with referencing (e.g., 'my inclinations' is used awkwardly). The transition between the main argument and the counter-argument is clear, but the internal logic within paragraphs could be tighter. Some sentences are fragmented or lack proper connection, which occasionally disrupts the flow of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'big job to do' and 'make peoples lives easier'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'pupils from the science field' (scientists or science students would be more natural) and 'means of life' (likely meaning 'signs of life'). To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to the topic of scientific advancement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have frequent errors with articles (e.g., 'the science field'), pluralization ('peoples lives'), and subject-verb agreement ('students... becomes doctors'). Punctuation is also problematic, with missing spaces after periods and commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed with correct punctuation.
