Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing relevant examples, such as AI and space exploration. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention AI and ISRO, the explanations are brief and lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how'—for example, explaining the societal impact of scientific advancements beyond just stating they exist. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, restating points already made rather than synthesizing them. The response is relevant, but the arguments need more thorough elaboration to fully satisfy the 'well-developed' requirement of higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. For instance, the transition 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' is used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed due to missing punctuation and run-on sentences. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'all these research more focus on humans,' where the connection to the previous sentence is weak. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences are clearly separated by punctuation would significantly improve the flow and logical progression of your arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic descriptors like 'big,' 'good,' and 'easy.' There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'the another big add on' and 'finding another places to live.' While your meaning is clear, the lack of sophisticated or academic vocabulary limits your score. To improve, focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoiding informal phrasing. Expanding your range to include topic-specific terminology related to science and ethics would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include missing articles ('the focus of science'), subject-verb agreement errors ('science did great achievements'), and run-on sentences where ideas are joined without proper punctuation. For example, 'Artificial intelligence is the great implementation by the technical industry which made human life more easy' lacks a comma and uses an awkward structure. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject, verb, and correct punctuation to avoid these frequent slips.
