Student answer (Band 4.5)
It is often argued that most essential thing about being rich is that who has the opportunity to help the poor people.I completely agree with this view because rich people should help the minorities for the benefit of the country.
The primary reason why I agree with this view is that we need to reduce poverty from our repectful country. This is because poverty plays a very crucial role in country economy. Countries who have a numerous issues about unemployment and poverty . They are unable to grow of their countries. As a result, Wealth people need to contribute in country growth. They can help ancient people by using differnt methods. For example, Pakistan is not a strong economic country because of poverty issues. In recent years, Pakistan people faced with differnt Destitution issues. Million Families don't have houses. Childrens are out of schools and its going on because of poverty.
Another significant issue is that to remove the crime from the society. In other words, poor people don't have bacic items like food and fresh water so that's the reason, they have no way to access these things except robbery and other crimes.Consequently, Ancient Communities should help these types of people for the good of society. For instance, karachi is a big city of pakistan but we have so many problems here about crimes because of poverty.People don't feel safe us in karachi. It's only one solution that we need to end poverty from this city.
In conclusion, I firmly agree that Rich people need to do something for poor families. This is because for the better of country and remove crime from the society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0
The response is completely off-topic. The prompt asks about the role of science in improving people's lives, but the essay discusses the responsibilities of wealthy people to help the poor. Because the student failed to address the task prompt entirely, the score is significantly impacted. While the student maintains a consistent position regarding wealth and poverty, this position is irrelevant to the question asked. To improve, you must carefully analyze the prompt's keywords—in this case, 'science'—before beginning your response to ensure your arguments directly answer the specific question posed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'This is because' and 'In other words'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas is often abrupt. While the structure is visible, the lack of relevant content makes the overall flow feel disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph clearly relates back to the central topic of the prompt.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good', 'help', and 'problems'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice, such as using 'ancient people' to refer to elderly or impoverished individuals, and 'respectful country' instead of 'respectable' or 'my country'. Spelling errors, such as 'repectful', 'differnt', and 'bacic', are frequent. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and ensure you are using words in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Childrens are', 'Wealth people'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'Countries who have a numerous issues about unemployment and poverty . They are unable to grow of their countries.' The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of plural nouns.
