Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in favor of science as a tool for improving lives. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you provide examples like the internet and space exploration, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and repetitive. To achieve a higher band, you should move beyond listing examples and instead provide deeper analysis of how science specifically impacts human well-being, perhaps by discussing the balance between technological progress and ethical considerations. The ideas are relevant, but they lack the depth and extension required for a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, phrases like 'The explore of science' and 'For this all of the reasion' are awkward and hinder the flow of ideas. While there is a logical progression from the introduction to the conclusion, the transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition to') would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'science', 'human', and 'easier'. There are frequent errors in word formation and collocation, such as 'The explore of science', 'mobail', and 'invetion'. Additionally, some phrasing is unnatural, such as 'Nasa Company' and 'getting information outside of earth from earth'. To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form. Spelling errors are also frequent and occasionally distract the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Science has make us', 'satellite has halping'), incorrect pluralization ('people live's', 'way's'), and missing articles. Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'Because of science, Now as of present time is very modern.' You need to focus on basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that articles are used correctly before nouns.
