On the one hand, now these days technolgy are very advanced it makes many new science things like machines, electronic vehicles. It makes human life easy. People doing there works fastly through technology for example, they go there locations on time, find easily any thing in internet. Doctors makes medicine fastly and searching new methods to perpere all desises medicines. Polic, engerniners, ciber security do their works fastly now rather then past years. So people will be save in the country, cities, towns. Science always protect to man kind lives. It provides all necessary things like food, cloths, shelter, medical facilites.

On the other hand, some times science is wrong in their works like doctors test medicines first apply on animals so it is harmful for animals. It was kill and dead with some wrong products.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position that science's most important aim is to improve human lives. However, the development of ideas is severely limited, and the response is well under the required length of 250 words, containing only 158 words. This negative impact on word count requires a significant penalty under Task Achievement. While the writer attempts to provide examples such as medicine, technology, and animal testing, these points remain superficial, repetitive, and under-developed. Because the task is only partially addressed due to severe brevity and limited elaboration, a Band 4.0 is appropriate.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay is divided into three paragraphs, demonstrating some basic structural awareness with an introduction and two body paragraphs. However, the overall organisation lacks clear progression, and cohesive devices are rudimentary, repetitive, or inaccurate. Phrases like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are used mechanically without appropriately balancing contrasting arguments. Referencing is frequently unclear, such as in the sentence 'It was kill and dead with some wrong products', making the logical relationship between ideas difficult to follow. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion fails to ensure a smooth progression of thought, leading to a Band 4.0 score.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and frequently repetitive, with numerous word-choice errors that restrict effective communication. Examples include 'technolgy', 'fastly' (used multiple times instead of quickly), 'perpere', 'desises' (diseases), and 'engerniners'. While the writer attempts some less common terms like 'ciber security' and 'electronic vehicles', persistent spelling mistakes and awkward collocations such as 'science things' and 'protect to man kind lives' place the response at a Band 4.0 level, where basic and repetitive vocabulary along with noticeable errors strain the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of simple and frequently flawed sentence structures. There are persistent and basic errors in punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and tense usage, such as 'The science is vital role', 'now these days technolgy are', and 'Doctors makes medicine fastly'. Complex sentences are attempted but are almost invariably faulty, for instance, 'People doing there works fastly through technology for example, they go there locations on time'. Frequent errors distort meaning in places and cause difficulty for the reader, aligning with the descriptors for Band 4.0.
