As a matter of fact, science has made our lives more convenient than before and it's true that the main purpose of science is to improve our daily workouts though.

While there are many other advantageous of science which has proved that how unaware we humans were before the discovery of the science. Furthermore, there are many universal facts that science has discovered. For instance, Neptune rains diamonds. Which sounds quite surprising to us. In addition, if we look to our daily life needs and wants so our transport system is one of the major reasons in our life. Similarly, we have discovered the moon and this all is because of the science.

Additionally, science has made our way easier to communicate with our families and friends than ever before. This is another major example for us because it was impossible to talk to anyone around the world and across the countries. Thus, this is a fact for all of us which is because of the study named "science". Therefore, in today's world all of us have been understood by the importance of the science. According to the research our mind in used only 3 to 4 percent [%] to discover all the things according to the science and our scientists are still working for more research that what could science possibly find out more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the main purpose of science is to improve people's lives. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times tangential. For instance, the mention of Neptune raining diamonds or discovering the moon touches broadly upon scientific facts rather than directly focusing on how science improves human lives. The ideas presented are somewhat superficial and lack deep elaboration, moving quickly between different points without fully exploring them. While the writer agrees with the statement, the argumentation relies on general assertions rather than well-supported examples. Consequently, the response meets the basic requirements of addressing all parts of the task, but the extension and support of ideas remain underdeveloped, corresponding to a Band 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs, including an introduction and conclusion, which provides a basic overall structure. However, the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and mechanical cohesive devices. For example, expressions like 'As a matter of fact' and 'Additionally, science has made our way easier' are used somewhat awkwardly or abruptly. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in sentences starting with 'Which sounds quite surprising to us.' which are sentence fragments lacking a clear subject. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow between sentences within paragraphs lacks smoothness. Overall, the organization shows some logical sequencing, but cohesion is faulty and mechanical, aligning with a Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. Examples include phrases like 'improve our daily workouts though' (where 'workouts' appears to be an incorrect lexical choice intended for 'lives' or 'routines') and 'all of us have been understood by the importance of the science'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'advantageous' (used as a noun instead of 'advantages') and 'convenient', but these attempts are marred by word-formation errors. While the vocabulary is adequate to convey the general message, noticeable errors in word choice cause occasional difficulty for the reader, placing this aspect firmly in the Band 5.0 category.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay exhibits a limited range of grammatical structures with frequent errors. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often faulty or punctuated incorrectly. For instance, the fragment 'Which sounds quite surprising to us.' breaks standard sentence boundaries, and the clause 'if we look to our daily life needs and wants so our transport system is one of the major reasons in our life' contains awkward phrasing and control issues. Furthermore, prepositional usage and verb forms are sometimes inaccurate, such as 'our mind in used only 3 to 4 percent'. Frequent errors in grammar and punctuation persist throughout the text, though they rarely impede overall communication entirely, which supports a Band 5.0 score.
