I agree with this statement, science is something that makes our life easier. It can influence our daily life. People are using science related services, electronic products, each day. Moreover, science has the power to change the world as well as destroy the world. Many students learning science in their early age for improving their life from school, college, univercsity. Students dreamed of becoming a scientist or doctor or astronomer. This world is created by a science and, astronomer roaming planet with rocket.Additionally, it provided sattelight, cars, kitchen equipment, mobilephone etc. Those thing makes our life standard and, every country started to become mordern with help of science. For intance, people using mobile phone for communicating with others and, without this device we did not contact easily with other person at a time. both science and technology working together invented new invention that people had never imagined before.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and presents a clear position that science should primarily focus on improving human lives. However, development across the essay is uneven. While the introduction outlines the writer's stance, some of the supporting ideas in the body paragraphs remain under-developed or somewhat unclear. For example, the point that 'science has the power to change the world as well as destroy the world' is introduced but not fully explained with sufficient depth or specific examples. Similarly, the discussion regarding potential negative impacts mentions that scientists could create substances or viruses, but this idea is treated superficially rather than being thoroughly explored to support the overall argument. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to extend all main ideas with more robust elaboration and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing that the writer has attempted to organise ideas logically. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by mechanical or faulty cohesion. There are issues with referencing and punctuation, such as missing spaces after commas and run-on phrasing like 'Moreover, science' and 'for intance', which disrupts the flow of reading. While basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Additionally', and 'Though' are employed, their usage can feel somewhat repetitive or forced. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion within paragraphs lacks seamless transitions. To improve, the writer should work on smoother inter-sentence links, more precise use of referencing, and accurate punctuation to ensure a clearer overall progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms related to the prompt such as 'electronic products', 'communication', and 'research'. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'significant', 'inhabitants', and 'dependable', but these are occasionally accompanied by word-choice and spelling inaccuracies, for instance 'obective', 'sattelight', 'mordern', and 'subtance'. Additionally, some collocations are awkward, such as 'give concern on' instead of 'focus on' or 'pay attention to'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the score. To achieve a higher band, the writer needs to expand the range of precise vocabulary and eliminate spelling and word-form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating that the writer can construct various sentence structures. However, there are noticeable errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text. Instances of faulty article usage, incorrect verb forms, and preposition errors are frequent, such as 'science is something that makes our life easier', 'in their early age', and 'nobody can not damage'. Punctuation issues, including comma splices and missing commas, also affect the control of grammar. While these errors rarely completely impede communication, they occur regularly enough to prevent the writing from achieving a higher mark. To progress, the writer should focus on strengthening grammatical accuracy in complex structures, mastering subject-verb agreement, and polishing punctuation control.
