Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the opening and conclusion: you strongly agree that science should improve people’s lives. You address several relevant benefits, including medical advances, easier communication and learning, and the contribution of space research to knowledge. The examples of vaccines, early disease detection, and online education help support your view. This gives the response a relevant and reasonably broad foundation. However, the development is uneven: the medical paragraph is difficult to follow, and the claims about online work and solving problems through the internet are asserted rather than explained. To strengthen the response further, clarify how each example demonstrates science’s most important aim and develop the qualification that science also serves purposes beyond comfort.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces your position, presents benefits in separate paragraphs, acknowledges science’s wider role, and concludes by restating your view. This helps the reader follow the main argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, particularly in the medical section, where the discussion shifts from science education to doctors and then to technology without clear links. Several transitions are repetitive or mechanical, such as repeated use of “the main” and “for example,” while sentence fragments such as “and today online work will be started” interrupt the flow. Use clearer topic sentences, group related examples, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “vaccines,” “medicines,” “scientific discoveries,” “space research,” and “online education,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, which sometimes makes meaning harder to follow. For instance, “the importance of aim in science” and “the medical treatment study of sciences degrees” do not clearly express your intended ideas; “dientist,” “palys,” and “everthing” also show spelling problems. Repeated general words such as “science,” “life,” and “easy” reduce precision. Build a more accurate range of collocations and check spelling, especially in key claims.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall position is usually understandable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often produce faulty sentences. For example, “The importance of aim in science has improved the medical treatment study…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “they discovered smartphones, computers by the help of science” has unclear subject reference and an incorrect construction. There are also recurring problems with capitalization, articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “science makes our daily life easier day by day . they discovered.” Practise building complete sentences with one clear subject and verb, then use conjunctions to link related ideas accurately.
