Science has played a major role in human development. I strongly agree with this statement, reasons and example will be discussed in the following essay.
To begin with scientific reasearch has improved medical treatment and increased life expectance by giving vaccination, antibiotics, advanced surgery and diagnostic equipment help prevent and cure diseases in stead of trying homemade remedies and being on bed for long months. For example, diagnostic equipment has made easy to identify the disease quickly and start the medical treatment as soon as possible and provide the required medicines which previously was very difficult to find the exact disease soon it is mandatory to take all the tests and wait for a day to get the reports and start the medical procedures.
Moreover, Science has made communication, transportation and house hold activities more convenient by bringing up latest technologies like smart phone, GPS tracking, Internet and electric vehicles. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that science should improve people’s lives. You support this with relevant areas—medical care, everyday convenience, and responses to global problems—and include examples such as diagnostic equipment and water purification. This covers the task well, but the support is uneven: the medical example is lengthy and difficult to follow, while the point about water purification is asserted rather than explained with a specific impact or example. The conclusion restates your view but does not draw together the reasons. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how each example demonstrates science improving lives and develop the less-supported points to a similar level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, three body paragraphs signalled by “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “Since,” and a concluding paragraph. The main ideas are generally grouped by topic, so the reader can follow the overall direction. However, progression within paragraphs is less controlled: the medical example becomes a long chain of details, and the shopping example shifts to discounts without a clear link to the central point. Some transitions are mechanical, and “Since” does not work clearly as a paragraph opener here. Use shorter, logically connected sentences, make the relationship between examples explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one main point before moving on.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “vaccination,” “diagnostic equipment,” “GPS tracking,” and “water purification system.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “energy efficient technologies.” However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation problems reduce precision, for example “life expectance,” “homemade remedies,” “house hold activities,” and “created a human live more convenient.” Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly repeated references to “system” and “technologies.” Aim to learn accurate word partnerships and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your examples clearer and help you express the benefits of science without relying on broad claims.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, especially in extended sentences. For instance, the sentence beginning “To begin with scientific research…” lacks clear sentence boundaries and combines several ideas without a stable grammatical structure. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence construction, as in “it helped alot in every individuals life” and “the science has improved.” Commas are often missing after introductory phrases, while some sentences run together. Practise building accurate complex sentences with clear clauses, and use full stops to separate supporting details. Greater control of these patterns would make the argument easier to read.
