Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, the topic of Science had considerable debate while some of the individuals advocate for its widespread adaption others concern its drawbacks. I strongly agreed with this statement and in this essay i will explain my opinions by observing different arguments.
Science has many positive influences on everyone daily life, if we see before the invention of science their is no basic facilities available. For example, in ancient times people dont have any better way of transport but now in modern era many buses and cars are launched which can be use for daily life. Furthermore, now we can use mobile phones for delivering any kind of information to anyone in any other part of the world, this is because invention of scienc, whereas in old era individuals dont have these kind of facilities. At last, in every prospective we see different kinds of inventions which can positively influence the peoples and society as a whole and also improves our standard of life.
On the other hand, science has totally change our living style. For example, I am a medical student and whenever i need some information or any idea i usually use google search engine with the help of this i can solve and clear my doubts with one click, and this is only due to science. Also science is advancing day by day and this can help us to live hapilly and easily. In future, one prediction is that scientist invent robots in offices and resturents to easy the workload of labour but it cost highly.
In conclusion, science has positevely influences our daily life. I strongly believe that in future almost all peoples can get benefits from science and this is very fruitfull.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that science should improve people’s lives, and you give relevant examples involving transport, communication, and medical study. These examples show an understanding of the topic, but the response only partly develops the argument. Much of the discussion describes ways science has changed daily life rather than explaining why improving lives should be its most important aim. The point about robots reducing workers’ workload is relevant, but the concern that “it cost highly” is not explained or connected to your position. To strengthen the response, develop a few examples in more depth and address the central idea directly—for instance, explain how scientific progress should be judged by its effects on people’s wellbeing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The examples are generally grouped by topic, and phrases such as “For example,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the second body paragraph shifts from your experience as a medical student to future robots without showing how the ideas connect. Some linking expressions, including “At last” and “On the other hand,” do not accurately describe the relationship between the ideas. The conclusion repeats your position but adds little synthesis. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the main argument, while choosing transitions that reflect the actual relationship between points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “invention,” “transport,” “information,” and “standard of life,” so the main ideas can usually be understood. However, vocabulary is repetitive and several word choices, collocations, and spellings are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “widespread adaption,” “in every prospective,” “easy the workload,” and “fruitfull.” The repeated use of “science” and “facilities” also limits precision. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for discussing scientific aims and social effects, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise phrasing would help distinguish scientific discoveries from the technologies or services that result from them.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “but,” and “because.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty; errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Science has many positive influences on everyone daily life” has problems with possessive form and agreement, while “people dont have any better way of transport” has tense and article errors. In “science has totally change our living style,” the verb form is incorrect, and several sentences run together without clear punctuation. Practise accurate past-versus-present tense, subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Shorter, correctly punctuated sentences will make your ideas clearer while you build more complex structures.
