Science plays very important role in our life. Many activites are based on science wheather it cooking or some other work. The most important aim of science should be to improve people's lives this statement is true but there are also some disadvantages. We can see world is growing in terms of science many new technologies has been created to improve people's lives. The statement is true because science has improve our life very much.New technologies like vechiles, phones, laptop are the gadgets which can save our time. Also visting to very distance place is also got easy because of aeroplanes, trains. We can travel to many places with it in short time. Then with the help of phones and laptops every leraning is possible with help of it.We can use them to learn more new skills and can be also use to talk to someone who lives far away from us.Messaging is also get easier, in past birds were used to send message to other ebut in todays time, just write your message and one click your message with reach to person you want. Science also helps with health care facilites many machines has been invented with help of science by which diseases can be cureable.
On other hand science is also been harmful to people lifes. Many harmful product can be created with help of it such as weapons, explosive items, dangerous disease. These are very harmful for humanity. Also people will become lazier if if all activities are done with help of technology. They will get fully depanded on it.Overuse of phones and laptop can also harm to eyes and they will get addicted to it.From my opinion I agree with the statement that the most important aim of science should be to improve people's lives but if it is done in limit and for benefit purpose only.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both the benefits and risks of scientific progress and give a clear overall position: you agree that improving lives should be science’s main aim, provided it is pursued for people’s benefit. Relevant examples include transport, communication, learning and healthcare, which help explain your view. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits receive several examples, while the disadvantages are listed more briefly and are not connected in detail to the question of what science’s priorities should be. For instance, you mention weapons and dependence on technology but do not explain how these risks should influence scientific research. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation or example, and make the distinction between science’s aim and the possible misuse of its discoveries more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces the topic, discusses benefits, presents disadvantages and ends with your position. Linking expressions such as “On other hand” and “From my opinion” signal the shift between ideas and the conclusion. However, much of the benefits discussion is presented as a long sequence of examples, so the progression can feel list-like rather than organised around distinct points. Some references are also unclear, as in “We can use them” and “with it,” where the reader must infer whether you mean phones, laptops or transport. Use separate paragraphs for related arguments, group examples under a clear topic sentence, and use precise references and a wider range of linking phrases to make the relationships between ideas clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “technologies,” “weapons,” “health care” and “addicted.” The examples also show an attempt to discuss several areas of modern life rather than relying on one topic. However, the range is limited and some words or phrases are repeated, particularly “science,” “people’s lives” and “with help of.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “activites,” “vechiles,” “leraning” and “depanded,” which can distract the reader. Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, including “very distance place” and “dangerous disease.” Build a more accurate range of collocations and check spelling; for example, use “long-distance travel” and “serious diseases.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example by using “because” and “if,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, sentence structures are limited, and attempts at more complex forms are often inaccurate. Errors include missing or incorrect articles and verb forms in “Science plays very important role” and “science has improve our life,” as well as agreement problems in “many new technologies has been created” and “many machines has been invented.” There are also incomplete or awkward sentence patterns, such as “Then with the help of phones and laptops every leraning is possible with help of it.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and complete clause structures, then vary sentence forms while checking punctuation and sentence boundaries.
