Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is true that, science plays crucial role individuals life so,itsfocus should be to enhance the lifestyle of citizens. I hve a partial view on the notion where with the focusing on indiuals live as well as science should focus on another matters also. I will shed light on my views in the upcoming paragraphs inthe upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with the engenders why science's main is on lives of residents of the nation.Firstly,if the masses of the country is healthy and delighted,so there is higher chances of development. Moreover happy and safe country. For instance,by the assit of science people of the nation get acess to advance eqipments and tools .Futhermore healthcare facilities and so on.Therefore, science should focus on masses life for the beteermentinthe nation and its residents too.
Probing ahead towards the statement that, why science should work on other things beside focusing on only individuals life.First and foremost, only aiming on citizens lives limit the acess of science ,so science should have to works in multifarious department. That makes it more broader ,subsequently everyone gets fesilitate by numrous things in future by the help of science. For instance, only fousing on individuals lives make its usage narrow whereas,on aiming on differnt field through science, so it can be more beneficial.Hence.rather than sholy on lives of people thechnology should aim on multifarious things.
To conclude, everything that has been stateted so far proves that, focus on both individuals lives and other matter is beneficial because if science aim only one,so it make its use limiting .so a balance onboth is much more fruitfull.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a relevant, balanced position: science should improve people’s lives, but it should also address other areas. The response discusses both sides and gives examples such as healthcare and scientific equipment, so the main question is addressed. However, the position is not expressed clearly at the outset: “I have a partial view” is difficult to interpret, and the introduction repeats “in the upcoming paragraphs.” The supporting ideas are also quite general. For example, the claim that a healthy and happy population leads to national development is not explained, and “other things” is not specified with concrete fields or examples. State your degree of agreement directly, then develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example. This would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different aspects of your view, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the broad direction of the argument, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “To conclude” make the stages visible. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and several links feel mechanical or unclear. For instance, “Moreover happy and safe country” is not a complete connection to the preceding point, while “Hence.rather than” interrupts the flow. The conclusion also repeats the idea of balance without clearly summarising the reasons. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each sentence’s relationship to the previous one explicit; clearer referencing and logical links would strengthen the overall progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “healthcare facilities,” “development,” and “multifarious,” and you try to express ideas about the scope and benefits of science. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “lives,” “things,” and “focus,” while several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear. Examples include “science’s main is on lives,” “get facilitate,” and “aim on multifarious things.” Spelling errors such as “assit,” “acess,” and “bet eerment” also make the writing less clear. Build a more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer natural phrases such as “improve quality of life,” “scientific research,” and “other fields of study” over vague or awkward expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional reasoning with “if” and clauses introduced by “whereas.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “if the masses of the country is healthy” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “Moreover happy and safe country” is a sentence fragment. The opening sentence also contains unclear clause boundaries, while several sentences run together or use commas where full stops are needed. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and article use. Shorter, accurately punctuated sentences would help communicate your ideas more reliably.
