Science is an important factor in our everyday lives, it's beneficial to a lot of people. I agree that the main objective of Science is to make sure that everything is accessible and convenient for everyone.
The most important reason why science is continuing to develop and improve is to aid in the daily lives of people. For instance, businesses use science more often in producing new products because they do test trials to make sure that it is safe to use and the use of technology will make the work easier. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that science should improve people’s lives, and you give relevant examples from product testing, technology, and healthcare. The discussion of vaccines and controlling disease is particularly pertinent and helps explain the practical value of scientific work. However, some points are asserted rather than developed. For example, the claim that science should help “the people, society and the environment” is broad, and the reference to community areas needing “advance help” is not explained with a specific need or outcome. You also briefly acknowledge drawbacks without identifying or weighing any. To strengthen the response, develop one or two examples in more depth and explain how they support your view of science’s most important aim.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a main paragraph with examples, and a concluding paragraph that restates your position. Ideas generally remain relevant, and phrases such as “For instance” and “With the help of Science” signal relationships between points. However, the main paragraph contains several ideas—product safety, technology, social development, hospitals, and vaccines—without clear transitions showing how they connect. Repeated references to “Science” also make the progression feel somewhat mechanical, while “By this evolvement” does not clearly link the preceding and following ideas. Organise the body around distinct supporting reasons, use clearer references such as “these advances,” and ensure each paragraph develops one central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “technology,” “product trials,” “healthcare,” “vaccines,” and “eradicate,” which allows you to discuss practical applications of science. There is also some attempt to use more formal language, such as “objective” and “advancements.” However, several choices are imprecise or unnatural, including “advance help,” “healthcare society,” and “by this evolvement.” “Science” is also repeated frequently, and capitalising it throughout is unnecessary. These issues make expression less natural, although the main meaning remains understandable. Build a more precise range of collocations for discussing scientific benefits, and vary repeated terms with suitable references such as “research,” “scientific progress,” or “these innovations.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “areas in our community that needs…” and a purpose clause in “in order to make vaccines.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors are noticeable. For example, “it's beneficial to a lot of people” joins two independent clauses with a comma, “Science has improve” has an incorrect verb form, and “the aim of Science” needs an article in the concluding position statement. There are also agreement and sentence-boundary problems in “areas…that needs” and “they do test trials… and the use of technology will make the work easier.” Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and comma splices, then check that each sentence expresses a complete, clearly connected idea.
