Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear from the opening (“I agree”) and remains consistent: you argue that science improves life through AI and renewable energy. These examples are relevant, and you give some explanation of their everyday usefulness, particularly for students, and of solar power’s environmental benefit. However, the response only partly develops the question of whether improving people’s lives should be science’s most important aim. It mainly lists technologies and countries rather than explaining how these examples support that priority or considering other aims, such as expanding knowledge. The claims about national investment and AI use are also broad and need specific support. Develop fewer examples in more depth and connect each directly to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall sequence: it states agreement, discusses AI, then turns to solar energy and concludes that science matters for the future. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, the opening combines several points in one long block, and the two examples are not clearly separated into developed paragraphs. Linking phrases such as “Now we talk About” and “So this are the Important thing” are repetitive or awkward, while references such as “this three types” make it unclear exactly what is being referred to. Use a clear introduction, one paragraph for each main reason, and a conclusion. Within each paragraph, explain the example and use precise links to show how it supports your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “Artificial Intelligence,” “Renewable Energy Resources,” “Pollution free,” and “New Invention,” so the reader can identify the subject and your examples. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated or used inaccurately, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “the front runners are Now in overall world” and “its very full for Students” do not express your intended ideas clearly; “full” is not an appropriate description of AI’s usefulness. Capitalisation is also inconsistent, and some expressions sound translated rather than natural. Build a bank of accurate collocations for discussing benefits, investment, and environmental effects, and check that each word fits its context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate a basic opinion and attempt to connect ideas with longer sentences, but the range of sentence structures is limited and many sentences contain errors that make the reader work to understand them. For example, “Yes, I am Agree because the science Systematic…” lacks a complete grammatical structure, while “this are the Important thing” has errors in subject–verb agreement and number. Other examples include “the worldwide three major are used” and “the main reasons are Solar generation,” where sentence construction is unclear. Articles, verb forms, agreement, and punctuation also need more consistent control. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using accurate clauses and conjunctions.
