Student answer (Band 5.5)

Science play a crucial role to bring facilities in humans life and ease their lives is much is possible.

According to my opinion, I am agree to this satatement to some extent. Firstly, science play a significant role in moderen technology such as in treatment and working. Additional to that, science should provide basic informatin about how to do work and make it a face of paper. Nowadays with the help of science we can solve difficulat tasks without any time consumtion. Finally but not it least, science must have to discovered such techniques that help peopel to work their daily life work with easy way as much as possible. For example we take a computer that can solve our tasks in less time and cheap way .

Another way, if every work is done by technollogy or with the help of science it has a side effect on people heath and mental health. Morever, when the human take work or perform their task it has side effect in their knowledge and may also lose their experiences gradually. However it is also compulsory for the people to take part in different activities. Finally when people to hard work than a lot of new ideas come to their mind and it is important for there mental growth and development.

To sum of that, in some cases it is important for science to play there role in improvement of peoples lives. It give more rlaxsation and releaf to people. And some cases it has disadvantages beacuse it make people lazy and not able to do there work on time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a position—agreeing “to some extent”—and discuss both benefits and drawbacks, which is relevant to the question. The examples of computers saving time and technology affecting people’s health and skills give the response a basic line of argument. However, the position is not fully clear: the conclusion says science is important “in some cases” but does not explain how this qualifies your agreement. Several points are also under-developed or unclear, such as science providing “basic information” and making work “a face of paper.” To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how scientific advances improve lives, then weigh those benefits against the risks and state your overall view consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some points are difficult to connect because their meaning is unclear. Linking phrases such as “Firstly,” “Finally,” and “However” are used, but the sequence sometimes feels mechanical; “Finally but not it least” also does not introduce a clearly final point. The conclusion repeats the general contrast rather than drawing the discussion together. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, explain it with a specific example, and use transitions that show the exact relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “technology,” “treatment,” “side effect,” and “mental growth and development.” These terms help communicate the general subject of the essay. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make ideas hard to understand, such as “make it a face of paper,” “work their daily life work,” and “more rlaxsation.” Spelling errors—including “moderen,” “difficulat,” and “technollogy”—also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “reduce the time needed to complete tasks” and “negative effects on physical and mental health” over vague or repeated wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the contrast between benefits and drawbacks is sometimes expressed through clauses beginning with “if” and “when.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and can make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “Science play,” “I am agree,” and “when the human take work,” which show problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms. Sentence construction is also faulty in “Science play a crucial role to bring facilities in humans life,” while missing or incorrect articles and possessives occur throughout. Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, particularly in “people.And.” Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with clear subjects, verbs, and clause boundaries.
