Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, our lifestyles have completely modified to socialism and all works have totally depend on online platforms such as online classes, filling all types of forms, and also financial recoards. I agree with this statement because this is one of the most important concepts for our living way that has widely transferred in online system all around the world. I will give you several reasons that support my experience.

Firstly science is one of the most important topic throughout entire world, however, there are many aspects of knowledge related to our environment system such as trees, forest and different types of gasess. One of the most benefical advantage for people, is technologhy and wepons.

We can easily create a lot of technology and weapons for our coountry's safety because, many countries are becoming more developed in innovative era for exapmle America, Japan, China and Russia, in addition those countries can stand up against any countries.

If we analyse present, the present time most progress rather than past, at that time there was no socially and people used some animals for their different purposes such as heavy package, travelled and food. One of the most benefits due to science, a lot of people can eaasily move from to another points by own vehicles, and it is a great resourcess to improve our expressions.

According to me, there are a variety of fileds include in this subject lik physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science, therefore, science give us many information about various species of animals and plants, or related to our body functions.

To sum up, I agrred with this statement, because our living styles will be more advance due to science and varities of subjeccts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a position—“I agree with this statement”—and return to it in the conclusion, so your response does address the central question. However, the reasons do not consistently explain how science improves people’s lives. The discussion of weapons and countries’ ability to “stand up against” others is not clearly connected to people’s wellbeing, and the paragraph about past transport remains general. You mention vehicles and scientific fields, but provide little explanation or a specific example showing their effects on health, safety, education, or daily life. The response therefore only partially develops its position. To strengthen it, choose two or three relevant benefits and explain each with a clear example, while making the link to improved lives explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, several body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “If we analyse,” and “To sum up” help indicate stages in the discussion. However, there is no clear progression from one reason to the next: the opening focuses on online platforms, while the body shifts among environmental knowledge, weapons, transport, and scientific subjects without showing how these points support a central argument. Some linking is mechanical, and connections within sentences are occasionally unclear, as in “therefore, science give us many information.” Organise the body around distinct benefits, use each paragraph to develop one main point, and add linking sentences that explain how the examples relate to the claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “innovative era,” “financial records,” “vehicles,” and names of scientific disciplines. This gives you some material to discuss science and modern life. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make ideas difficult to interpret, such as “modified to socialism,” “living way,” and “improve our expressions.” Spelling errors—including “benefical,” “technologhy,” and “coountry's”—also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, familiar academic phrases rather than using words whose meaning does not fit the point. Learning collocations such as “improve quality of life,” “scientific advances,” and “access to online services” would help you express your argument more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple statements and longer sentences with connectors such as “because,” “however,” and “therefore.” This shows an attempt to vary sentence structure, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “all works have totally depend” has an incorrect verb form, while “science give us” has subject–verb disagreement. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “science is one of the most important topic” and the comma after “people” in “advantage for people, is technology.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
