Student answer (Band 5.0)

Species and plants key driver of an environment. Most people says that animal is play crucial role in the environment. whereas other people think that plant play the significant role in the environment. But I believe that both species and plant are the important of our life and environment, and I believe that environment problem require a serious attention.

On the other hand, logging of the plant is the serous problem around the world. Many people cut down the tree manufacture furniture, but nowadays, they are widely used in sports, education and to made houses and these reason the main reason in environment. For example, In recent year, flooding in Nepal occur due to melting glaciers, and this problem is also caused by deforestation. plants give us the oxygen and maintain the environment. governments should take the action regarding the logging of trees.

On the other hand, we don't ignore the particular species. Many animal and plant are becoming extinct due to deforestation, illegal hunting and climate. Every plant and species are play a major role in the environment both are the maintain the natural balance of ecosystem. If certain animal disappears , it can disturb the food china and negatively effect the living organism. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You attempt to discuss both the loss of plants and animals and other environmental concerns, and you state that pollution and climate change are also important. However, the response does not clearly explain the two views in the question: the first body paragraph focuses mainly on deforestation, while the second addresses species loss, and the comparison between their relative importance remains limited. Your opinion is difficult to follow because the opening says both plants and species matter, but the conclusion is incomplete and includes the unclear statement that governments should write “the NOC.” Examples such as the Indian tiger and the effects of deforestation are relevant, but their links to the argument need fuller explanation. Develop a clear position and support each view with specific reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a concluding attempt, so there is some basic organisation. The repeated phrase “On the other hand” signals a change of topic, and examples are placed near the points they are intended to support. However, progression is not consistently clear: the first paragraph moves from logging to furniture, sports and education, then to flooding, without explaining the connections. The final paragraph is unfinished and does not bring the discussion together. Some references, such as “this problem” and “these reason,” are unclear, and the repeated transitions do not show the precise relationship between ideas. Use topic sentences that directly address each view, connect examples explicitly to claims, and provide a complete conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant environmental vocabulary, including “deforestation,” “extinct,” “ecosystem,” “food chain” and “illegal hunting,” which helps communicate the topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. For example, “logging of the plant” is not a natural way to describe tree loss, “manufacture furniture” does not fit the sentence, and “send of the jail illegal hunters” is unclear. There are also spelling and word-form problems, such as “serous” and “effect” where a verb is needed. Build a more precise set of environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, such as “If certain animal disappears, it can disturb the food china…” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range of sentence structures is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Frequent problems with subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals and verb forms include “Most people says,” “Many animal… are becoming,” and “Every plant and species are play.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly in the final paragraph, where clauses run together and the conclusion is difficult to parse. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses. Check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
