Plants and animals are beautiful creatures of the nature. Some people believe that the major current problem is the loss of particular plants and animals, others argue that there are another essential environmental problems such as global warming and air pollution where there is need to put more focus. This essay will discuss both views before explaining why I believe that government should put more efforts to take care of both endangered species and others important factors.
On the one hand, several plant species have several benefits to people as some species are used to manufacture large annoying of medicines and in some cosmetic products. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve them as much as possible because they provide much benefit to the society. For example, neem tree is used to manufacture toothpaste which is helpful and have many properties. It is responsiblity of government to give more attention to look after the plant species which have numerous advantages to the society.
On the other hand, many environmental issues such as global warming is still the major problem in the environment. The infra red rays are depleting the ozone layer which has harmful affects to the people’s skin which is the major cause of cancer. Consequently, individuals as well as governments should take immediate actions to protect the environment, so that it may not become too difficult to handle. In addition, aor pollution is also increasing from last few decades which has detrimental effects on asthma patients and children, therefore, government should think about how this issue could be resolved instead of give importance to another issues.
In conclusion, preserving plants and animals is beneficial for the environment and the ecosystem, at the same time government should focus on another major issues of the environment. I believe that government as well as individuals should take responsibility for the environmental protection and the conservation of plants and animals for the betterment of natures.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both the loss of species and other environmental issues, while providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, though the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the 'neem tree' is a good specific example, but the discussion on global warming and air pollution remains a bit general. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, you should aim to extend your arguments with more depth and perhaps provide a more nuanced synthesis of why both issues are interconnected rather than just listing them separately.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' 'Therefore,' and 'In addition' are used to guide the reader through the argument. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there is occasional repetition of phrases like 'government should.' The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is more precise throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing for clear communication. You use some topic-specific terms like 'endangered species,' 'ozone layer,' and 'ecosystem.' However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'large annoying of medicines' (likely meant 'amount') and 'another essential environmental problems' (should be 'other'). The range is sufficient to convey your meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing would significantly improve your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'creatures of the nature' (should be 'nature'), 'have many properties' (subject-verb agreement), 'harmful affects' (should be 'effects'), and 'instead of give importance' (should be 'giving'). Punctuation is mostly functional, but there are some run-on sentences and minor errors in article usage. To improve, you should focus on subject-verb agreement, the correct use of nouns versus verbs (affect/effect), and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately.
