IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Plants and animals both are essential to maintain the environment and with the passage of time human needs with plants and animals also have been changed but in loss of species in both plant kingdom and animal kingdom

is serious issue in present day because most of the wild life and agricultural life depends on them.

Overall, we discuss the both views of problem that the loss in particular species and the other environmental problems.Whereas, global warming increases and effect the plants lives as well as animals on which we also depend on them for surviving. However, some plants like, rice and wheat are essential to feed the human population and the animals which are also use as a food for humans have a major role in environment.

In addition, the other environmental problems of increase in population and rapid change of climate become excessively major problem in the present and for future it is also a main target to get relieve from this problem.

In my opinion, plants and animals need a special protocol beacuse with the passage of time things can't be remian same and the production areas where the plants are grown for the business purposes may provide advantages to both people and animals. On the other hand, the problems like global warming and increase in population leads to produce more effort for environmental structure as well as industries which pollute the air and causes damage to water when their waste water releases in rivers which is not appropriate for the aqautic life. There should be a control on these activities which cause serious impact on environment.
