Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is irrefutable that increasing environmental problems has become a matter of great debate among people around the world since last few years. Therefore, people are highly divided on whether extinction of species such as plants and animals cause of inclining more nature problems or it is important atmosphere issues. This essay intends to discuss both perspectives along with my opinion.
One the one hand, lossing of particular species of plants and animals is rising more environmental problems. The first and foremost reason is that trees protect nature from harmful and toxic gasses and animals give natural products to nature. Since these are helpful to preserve universe,it results in grading the environment entirely.Certainly,it leads to decrease pollution and give pure items like as honey. Thus,it is fruitful in order to give protection about environment.
On the other hand, natural disasters are the main reason of degrading ecosystem. As flood, earth quake and strome deterorates atmosphere,it tends to reduce the quality of nature.Admittedly, it is likely to make wirse situation.Hence,it is immensely challenging for environment.
As per my ideology, reduction in plants variety and animal species make dirty surroundings. For instance,it has been found by Oxford University that most of the environmental issues create by lossing species because of not surving well without it.Undoubtedly,it makes critical tasks of recovering greenery.Consequently,it is largely pessimistic development of atmosphere.
In epilogue,I would like to reiterate by saying that although natural disasters create worse situations for environment, declination of plants and animals species make environmental problems such asit protects nature from dangerous things and grades nature beauty.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that the loss of specific species is the main environmental problem, and that other issues such as natural disasters are more important—while presenting a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times repetitive. For instance, the discussion on the loss of plants and animals vaguely mentions that 'trees protect nature from harmful and toxic gasses' without fully exploring the ecological consequences. The position is stated throughout the essay, but the arguments lack depth and rely on sweeping generalizations. According to the band descriptors, this falls comfortably into Band 5, as the task is addressed, but the ideas remain under-developed and limited.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is organized into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an attempt at paragraphing. However, the overall progression is frequently hindered by awkward transitions and confusing referencing. For example, expressions like 'One the one hand' and 'In epilogue' indicate a mechanical use of cohesive devices rather than natural progression. Furthermore, referencing is unclear in sentences such as 'without surving well without it,' where pronoun reference is ambiguous. While there is a discernible structure, the cohesive errors and repetitive linking patterns align with Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, repeatedly cycling through basic terms like 'environment,' 'nature,' 'problems,' and 'species.' There are noticeable lexical errors and improper collocations throughout the text, such as 'lossing' instead of 'loss,' 'inclining more nature problems,' and 'grading the environment entirely.' Attempted less common lexical items often result in unnatural phrasing, such as 'As per my ideology' instead of 'In my opinion' or 'deterorates atmosphere.' These persistent inaccuracies and restricted range reflect Band 4 to Band 5 characteristics, leaning toward a solid Band 5 for general adequacy in conveying basic meaning despite errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, and attempts at complex sentences frequently result in severe errors that obscure meaning. Examples include 'extinction of species such as plants and animals cause of inclining more nature problems' and 'most of the environmental issues create by lossing species because of not surving well without it.' Punctuation and article usage are also problematic throughout the response. Frequent grammatical errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching Band 6, placing it squarely at Band 4 where errors frequently distort meaning.
