Student answer (Band 5.0)
Definitely, every thing that exist in the world play its role that is why those things are created by the Lord. I also think sometimes this is the reason also which effect the environment like particular species pf plants and animals. i am going to talk about plants first, they play vital role in the making environment peaceful. Plants not only produce oxygen but also creat a beatiful and aya catching views for the people live in the world, just by seeing the green plants makes the human mind feel relaxed and peaceful. Animals are very important in the environment also because without animals lif is incomplete, we take a lot of thing and products from the animals, so we can not say that animals are less important. No doubt there are many other reason for the environmental problem like indutries waste and plastic making companies which also make the air polluted, and also some people do not care of the environmntal pease they also create the unneccesary noise and make environmental problem. But i agree loss of some particular loss of species of plants and animal became the environmental problem but in this case we can not ignore the other factor which also cause the environmental problem. i am giving you the example, our house located near the fertilizer company and the waste of the company literally make the environment polluted and the smoke arises from it also make the air polluted too. It also create extra noise and trafic jam problem for us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially. While the writer attempts to discuss both views regarding the loss of species versus other environmental problems and offers a personal opinion, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on plants focuses primarily on producing oxygen and creating 'beautiful and aya catching views', which lacks academic depth. Similarly, the counterargument concerning industries and waste is introduced quickly through a personal example about a nearby fertilizer company rather than being expanded into a broader discussion. The position is expressed, but the reasoning throughout lacks extension and thorough support, keeping the response at a restricted level of task fulfilment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is some basic organisation evident in the text, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. The writing is structured as a single massive block of text rather than being separated into logical paragraphs for introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. This lack of proper paragraphing makes it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of arguments. Furthermore, cohesive devices are largely inadequate or repetitive. Words like 'also', 'and', and 'because' are overused to string clauses together, and referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the sudden shift into a personal anecdote at the end without transitional signposts, leading to a disjointed reading experience.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common expressions, but these are often marred by noticeable word-choice errors, spelling mistakes, and awkward phrasing, such as 'aya catching' instead of eye-catching, 'indutries' for industries, and 'environmntal pease' for environmental peace. Other choices, such as 'thing and products' or 'make the air polluted', demonstrate a restricted lexical range and repetition. While meaning can generally be deciphered, these frequent inaccuracies in spelling and collocation cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher level of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences or run-on sentences joined by coordinating conjunctions. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to grammatical breakdown. There are frequent errors in verb forms, tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and articles throughout the text. Examples include 'every thing that exist' instead of exists, 'play its role', 'effect the environment' instead of affect, and 'loss of some particular loss of species'. Punctuation is also weak, with comma splices connecting independent clauses incorrectly. These frequent errors across basic and complex structures cause ongoing difficulty for the reader.
