There are many problems related to our environment in our modern era like the constant cutting down of trees in order to build skyscrapers or to expand our civilization due to growth in population.these things lead to destroy the natural habitat of animals and then eventually leads to extinction or endangering of species, animals and plants. Some believe there are many problems larher than that like gloabal warming, pollution of water bodies, food and water insecurities. These problems can lead to enormous loss of all the Earth. While, both of them are right and,I totally agree with all these problems related to our environment. We ought to see the solution rather than just complaining about our problems. So, the solution is in my opinion we should all take up the responsibility of taking care of our environment and take the steps which are necessary to save our environment and our biodiversity.Even small things matter you can just take up the courage and the sense of passion in you to just stop throwing litter and start cleaning your surroundings for contributing in this righteous deed of protecting our biodiversity and our Earth

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the task only partially, presenting limited and under-developed ideas regarding the loss of species and alternative environmental issues. While the writer touches upon deforestation and global warming, these points are presented without sufficient extension or detailed support. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response contains only 183 words, falling significantly short of the 250-word minimum. To reach a higher level, the writer must expand the arguments for both views, provide concrete examples, maintain a clearer position throughout the essay, and ensure the word count requirement is fully satisfied.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

Information and ideas are not arranged coherently, lacking a clear overall progression. The text is written as a single dense paragraph rather than structured into a traditional introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Cohesive devices are minimal, mechanical, or inaccurate, such as using 'While, both of them are right and,I totally agree', which disrupts the logical flow. Paragraphing is absent entirely, making it difficult for the reader to follow the transitions between discussing species loss, alternative problems, and the writer's personal opinion. Improving organization through proper paragraph structuring and clearer logical connectors is essential for progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is limited and somewhat repetitive, featuring basic terms like 'problems', 'environment', and 'things'. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices, such as 'larher' (larger), 'gloabal' (global), and 'loss of all the Earth', which occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The range is minimally adequate to convey basic concepts about habitat destruction and pollution, but it lacks the precision and less common items required for higher bands. To improve, the writer should incorporate a wider variety of precise environmental terms and check carefully for spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer employs a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by coordinating conjunctions, alongside attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty, such as run-on sentences like 'These problems can lead to enormous loss of all the Earth. While, both of them are right and,I totally agree...'. Frequent errors in punctuation, missing spaces after periods, capitalization (e.g., 'animals, animals'), and article usage are apparent throughout the text and cause difficulty for the reader. Enhancing grammatical control by breaking up overly long clauses, improving punctuation discipline, and using a better mix of error-free complex structures will help elevate this criterion.
