Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is argued that few people believe that the most crucial global issues of nowadays are the missing of special species of plants and animals . while on one hand some think that there are many nessary envirnmental problems .As far as i consider both opinion but i am in favour of that there are lots of envirnmental obstacles are present .

my first compeling argument is that people have to face different envirmental problem in life .Problems are a part of life but envirmental issues causedf lots of obstacles in life of people .There are many forms of envirnment problems that effect badly human health for instance pollution is very enormous problem we face in daily routine it not only impact on healh but also leads a healty person to death .It spread with vechiles or with factories used .

my second opinion is that , It has been noticed that we face deficency of different types of species of plants and animal .The main reason of missimg of thes species is because of pollutions for example dirty water comes out of industries and absorbed by soil which stop the growth of plants and animal also effect through it . The reason is that when they drink water from polluted river their lungs enable to breath because of harsh chemicals in water or other with rubbish .

in epilogue , it is true that we face lack of species of animals and plants but this loss is not because of nature. Infact we ignored other globals things that are the main cause of it .we overcome this issue by reduceing mistake that whole cities do.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views by discussing broader environmental problems, especially pollution, and the loss of plant and animal species. Your final position—that wider environmental problems are the main concern and contribute to species loss—is present, but it is not consistently clear in the introduction, where the wording is difficult to follow. The discussion is also limited and under-developed: pollution is named as a threat to human health, but the explanation and example remain general, while the species paragraph focuses mainly on polluted water rather than explaining why species loss might be considered the main problem. Develop each view with a clear reason and a specific example, then state your opinion directly and consistently. This would make the response address the task more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Phrases such as “my first… argument,” “my second opinion” and “in epilogue” signal the intended stages, and the ideas are broadly grouped by topic. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and the linking language can feel mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the pollution paragraph moves from general problems to health effects and then to vehicles and factories without clearly connecting these points. The relationship between species loss and pollution is also difficult to follow in places. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, and connect explanations and examples with clear cause-and-effect links. More precise referencing would also help readers follow what “it” and “they” refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “pollution,” “species,” “industries,” “chemicals” and “human health.” However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “missing of special species,” “envirnmental obstacles,” “pollutions” and “their lungs enable to breath”; these are not natural or precise ways to express the intended ideas. Repetition of “problem” and “species” also limits flexibility. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms, while prioritising accurate, natural combinations over ambitious phrasing. For instance, use “the decline in certain species” and “industrial wastewater contaminates rivers” to express your points more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use structures such as “not only…but also” and “when they drink water…,” showing an effort to go beyond simple statements. However, the range remains limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. In “It not only impact on healh but also leads a healty person to death,” the subject–verb form and sentence construction are not controlled; “when they drink water… their lungs enable to breath” also has unclear grammatical relationships. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent, including the run-on sequence beginning “for instance pollution.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “which” and “when.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
