Student answer (Band 4.0)

Nowdays, some individuals believe that the serious ecosystem couses is newly maid plants and creatures. while others argue that there are lot of crucial environmental problems.

On the one hand, one main reason why people think that only herb or wildlife is damage. Plenty of animals are extinct therefore they think that this is a major issue in these days because nature is vital for every person, additionally if beasts are extinct in earth then it is a leading trouble for habitat. However in todays modern world technology is advance everywhere or plants are not sufficient. For example, land is damaged in addition this is not good for nature so that is why persons reckon that these two are major problem.

On the other hand, others argue that ecosystem have several issue like pollution because atmosphere is damage by human. For instance, in present days humans population is high so they use many convenient things. For instance, cars and airplane and these are harmfull for habitat. Furthermore, hence others consider that environment has countless worry.

From my perspective, these days atmosphere has plenty of problems like disaster mainly himalayas are not safe for travelers because of living beings. For instance, people are build new roads so they cuttuing the trees and this is the main trouble in these days.

In contrast, although loss of particular species of plants and animals is a main matter in present dyas but also there are more matters are available like earthquakes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You attempt to discuss both views and give a personal position, but the response only partly fulfils the task. The first body paragraph mentions species loss and habitat damage, while the next raises pollution from cars and aeroplanes; however, the explanations are unclear and examples are not developed enough to show why these problems matter. Your opinion is also difficult to identify consistently: you refer to road-building and tree-cutting, then conclude that earthquakes are another problem, without clearly comparing their importance with species loss. The response contains 239 words, so it is 11 words below the 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the prompt are excluded. Develop each view with a clear reason and a relevant, explained example, and state your position directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding paragraph. These markers help the reader recognise the intended discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and some links do not show a clear relationship between ideas. For example, the first body paragraph moves from extinction to technology and then land damage without explaining the connections. “For instance” is repeated in the second body paragraph, while “Furthermore, hence” combines linking words awkwardly. The final paragraph begins “In contrast,” although it does not clearly contrast with the preceding point. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it, using fewer and more precise transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “extinct,” “pollution,” “habitat,” and “environmental problems,” and you try to express ideas about human impacts on nature. However, word choice and spelling are often inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning hard to understand. Phrases such as “newly maid plants and creatures,” “only herb or wildlife is damage,” and “environment has countless worry” are not natural or sufficiently precise. There are also spelling errors in “Nowdays,” “harmfull,” and “dyas.” Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check collocations and word forms: for example, use “loss of species,” “wildlife is being harmed,” and “environmental concerns.” More accurate phrasing will make your ideas clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You make some attempts to combine ideas using clauses and connectors, as in “because nature is vital for every person” and “if beasts are extinct in earth then it is a leading trouble for habitat.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation frequently affect clarity. For example, “one main reason why people think that only herb or wildlife is damage” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, while “humans population is high” and “people are build new roads” show problems with agreement and verb construction. Capitalisation after full stops is also inconsistent. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, tense, articles, and sentence boundaries.
