Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's time enviromental issues are the topic of great concern. Some people says it is because we are loosing particular species of plants and animals, while others think their are more important enviromental problems needed to be addressed.
On one hand, it is scientifically proven that some species are the cause of our existance. For example, honey bees are one of the main causes of polination. If they get extinct it will adveresly effect crops cultivation. With regards to - forest plantation or tress are the reason to prevent soil eroison. Deforestation will cause major flooding issues in near by areas as soil will not be able to hold rainwater. It will also effect wild animals to enter human habitate. As a result distrubance in nature will effect food chain.
On the other hand, enviromantal impacts caused by human intervention cannot be ignored. Today, growing technological advancement is dibalnacing nature. As much use the of artificial intelligence making day today life of human being easier, it also creating huge pressure on nature. Data centres consume millions of liters of fresh water for its opreation, resulting in deplition of fresh water resourse for human uses.
In my opinion, loss of natural resources may or may not be singular reason for environmental impact. But definately a reason for concern if they are getting extinct. It is our responsibilty as citizen of this mother nature earth to save our planet. We can do it by taking very small steps- like planting trees, using water with care, not throwing garbage in water, adapting sustainable life style. If we are using its resources we should give back to nature by taking care of it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a personal position: the first body paragraph explains how species loss can affect pollination, crops and food chains, while the next raises human-driven pressures through technology and data-centre water use. These examples are relevant and help answer the question. Your conclusion also offers practical actions, such as planting trees and conserving water. However, the comparison between the two views is not fully developed, and your opinion is somewhat unclear: “loss of natural resources may or may not be singular reason” does not directly establish which environmental problem you consider most important. The discussion of AI and data centres would benefit from a clearer explanation of its wider environmental significance. State your position explicitly and extend each main reason with a specific consequence or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. “On one hand” and “On the other hand” make the contrast easy to follow, and the examples generally appear in a sensible order. This gives the essay a coherent progression. Some links are less smooth or precise, however. For instance, “With regards to - forest plantation or tress” interrupts the flow, and the connection between deforestation, flooding and animals entering human habitats could be signposted more clearly. The conclusion also moves quickly from uncertainty about the main problem to individual actions. Use clearer topic sentences and transitions that show how each example supports the paragraph’s central claim, and make the final paragraph follow directly from your stated comparison.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant environmental vocabulary, including “species,” “pollination,” “deforestation,” “food chain,” “data centres,” and “sustainable lifestyle.” These choices show an adequate range for discussing the topic, and several terms are appropriately specific. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, such as “enviromental,” “loosing,” “adveresly effect,” and “deplition of fresh water resourse.” Phrases such as “cause of our existence” and “mother nature earth” are also awkward in this context. These issues sometimes make the writing less fluent, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Check spelling carefully and learn environmental collocations as complete phrases, such as “contribute to pollination” and “deplete freshwater supplies,” rather than translating expressions word by word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and more complex forms, including conditional structures in “If they get extinct it will…” and cause-and-effect sentences beginning “As a result.” Most ideas remain understandable, and the paragraph structure gives you opportunities to vary sentence patterns. Some grammatical errors nevertheless recur. For example, “Some people says” has subject–verb disagreement, “it also creating” is missing an auxiliary verb, and “As much use the of artificial intelligence…” is not a complete, well-formed clause. The sentence beginning “With regards to” is also incomplete, while “if they are getting extinct” uses an awkward tense construction. Practise building complete clauses with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles and verb forms. More accurate complex sentences will make your reasoning easier to follow.
