Student answer (Band 5.0)
The main invironmental problem of our time is to loos particular species of plant and animals, but also some people say that biside this there are more important environmental problems. As we can say that every problem in enivronment couse loos of something.
With regards to some people now a days the main problem is we are loosing some type of species and we seeing that in our daily life some type of plant and aslo animals and birds are going to extent and now we see them very rarely. As we take an example of refflassia flower, as we can see markhor is also going to extent. If we see that there are a large number of organism which are going to extent and this is not a small problem it can create very big crises.
On the other hand our environment faces very large number of problems such as goobel warming, sessionl changes, deforestation etc . That are also a very big challenges for our environment, lossing some organism is not only the main problem but there is a very large number of broblem we can face in future like flooding , heat waves, water scarcity etc
In my opinion other environmental problem is also the reasion of lossing some organism. If we take a look on one problem like globel warming, it cause melting of ica cages and glaciers which cause flooding and flooding cause soil erosion and it cause defertilization and it cause less food production and due to which a very few organism live.
At the end we can conclude that other environmental factore cause the main factors of loosing particular organisms.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views: the second paragraph explains concern about species loss, while the third identifies wider problems such as global warming, deforestation, flooding and water scarcity. Your opinion is also present: you argue that broader environmental problems can cause species loss. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The examples of the rafflesia flower and markhor are named but not explained, and the wider problems are mostly listed rather than compared in importance. The conclusion repeats the link between environmental factors and species loss without clearly weighing the two views. To strengthen the response, explain why one problem is more serious or far-reaching, and develop each example with a specific consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In my opinion” help signal changes in direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and several ideas are joined mechanically. The chain beginning “it cause melting… and flooding cause soil erosion” contains relevant links, but the repeated “and it cause” makes the reasoning feel like a list rather than a clearly controlled explanation. Some references are also unclear, such as “That are also a very big challenges,” where the reader must infer what “That” refers to. Use clearer topic sentences and vary linking and referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant environmental vocabulary, including “deforestation,” “water scarcity,” “heat waves,” “soil erosion” and “food production,” which helps communicate the topic. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “problem,” “cause” and “organism.” Frequent spelling errors, including “invironmental,” “globel warming” and “extent” for “extinct,” sometimes make the intended meaning harder to read. There are also inaccurate word choices and collocations, such as “seasonal changes” where you appear to mean climate change, and “very big crises.” Build a more precise set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer cause-and-effect sentences, for example the explanation linking global warming, melting ice, flooding and soil erosion. However, the longer structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “we are loosing some type of species and we seeing,” which needs a consistent verb pattern, and “it cause melting,” where the subject and verb do not agree. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “a large number of organism” and the run-on sequence in the opinion paragraph. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected subordinate clause before extending them into longer chains.
