Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, there is an ongoing debate that says most of the environment problems are caused by lossing particular species of plants and animals while some believe that there are more environment problem. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before presenting my prespective.
Environmental problems build up alot of tension between individuals because it is effecting the health of not only humans but animals as well. Due to the loss of particular species, our environment is leading towards extreamly dangrous state which can affect in every negitive way possible. The question is why we are loosing such important species of plant and animals. Well, most of the reasons lies within human planning of modernism. For instance, uncontrolled hunting leads to loosing species of animals forever which would be beneficial for environment. Furthermore, most of the places which contained alot of plants that works for us as natural remedies and ecofriendly lifelines are disappearing in the name of advancement.
The proponets of other view believe that there are more environmental problems than these such as air pollution, wastage, saverage issues and much more. These issues are important as well because they are damaging the entire state environment. These problems should be addressed immidiately because these have direct effect on humans and made their daily life difficult. For example, government should make ways to handle the pollution by providing resources that which decrease the transportantion rush, solve the saverage and wastage problem which happen mostly in third world countires and have direct effect on human health, it is the most common reason of deaths as well.
To conclude, both views holds its own importance and lined in one way or another. So having a moderate solution will surely solve this issue

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the first body paragraph discusses species loss, while the second introduces pollution, waste and sewage, and you give examples such as uncontrolled hunting and transport-related pollution. However, the discussion is only partial because several points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, you say species loss leads to an “extreamly dangrous state” but do not show clearly how this affects ecosystems or people. Your own opinion is also not explicit: the conclusion says both views matter and recommends a “moderate solution,” without stating which problem you consider more important or why. Develop each side with a clear cause-and-effect explanation, then state and support your position directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the main stages of the discussion easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude.” At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening of the second body paragraph, “The proponets of other view,” does not clearly connect the examples that follow, and the final sentence does not show how the proposed “moderate solution” follows from the discussion. Some sentences also contain several ideas joined together, making relationships harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and link each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “particular species,” “uncontrolled hunting,” “air pollution,” and “human health,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “environment problems,” “lossing,” “saverage,” and “transportantion rush”; “natural remedies and ecofriendly lifelines” is also unclear in this context. Repetition of broad terms such as “problems” and “issues” limits precision. Build a more accurate set of environmental collocations and check spelling, word forms, and whether a phrase expresses your intended meaning. More precise vocabulary would make your examples and claims clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause in “because they are damaging the entire state environment” and a relative clause in “places which contained a lot of plants.” However, complex structures are often not controlled successfully, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “most of the reasons lies” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “these have direct effect on humans and made their daily life difficult” shifts verb form and has an unclear subject relationship. The final sentence, “both views holds its own importance and lined in one way or another,” also has agreement and verb-form problems. Practise checking agreement, tense consistency, articles, and sentence boundaries, especially in longer sentences.
