Student answer (Band 5.0)
Let's talk about a very informative conversation that is in more trend during these days between the people. The communication is related to the environmental problems. There were two opinion related to this topic among people. One community of people tell that the main environmental problem of this time is the lost of specific species of plants and animals because many people cut the trees daily which causes the loss of plants species.Due to this reason , oxygen is declining these days which causes many health related issues among people. Some people also encourage the issues of losing animal species. The factories that are placed near the seasides, rivers released their dirty water in sea, rivers which causes the death of specific animals like pesticides, mammals and many sea creatures. As all the creatures in the world has a purpose if we lost the animals that are specific for this world will also cause environmental problems. As we discussed , not only animals in the water are in danger, the animals on the land side are also in danger beacuse of cutting trees , the animals left those woods and migrate to other areas. Recently , I heard a news that a national animal "Marhore" of our country has a very less specied left. So , by losing such marvelous specied we lose the national identity. Now, lets talk about the other opinion, some pupil said that there were more important envrionmental problems occured such as global warming, due to cutting of trees , the oxygen is declining and the sun is rising at the top of our heads which causes the icein the cold areas melting due to which every year we lost dozens of people, and thousands of people lost their houses by landsliding and flooding. By deep down in this topic, I realize that both opinions have their own value and strength as animal and plant species are more imporant similarly reducing noise pollution and cutting of trees for saving trees species and also animals for decreasing the global warming are more important so , both are the encouraged dicussions that should be noticeable by the people , factory owners and the government.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views: the first section links species loss to deforestation and polluted waterways, while the later section introduces global warming, melting ice, flooding and landslides. The example of the markhor also makes the discussion more specific. However, the response only partly fulfils the task because the two positions are not clearly explained as distinct arguments, and several claims are asserted rather than developed—for example, that declining oxygen causes health problems or that species loss removes national identity. Your own opinion appears only near the end, where you say both views have value, but you do not clearly identify which environmental problem you consider more important or explain why. State your position directly and support it with a focused comparison.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some overall organisation: the response moves from species loss to other environmental problems and then to a concluding view. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the essay is presented as one long paragraph, and ideas within it often run together. Phrases such as “Now, lets talk about the other opinion” signal a shift, but the repeated conversational framing does not create clear paragraph-level development. Linking words such as “due to this reason” and “as we discussed” are sometimes used mechanically, and references such as “this topic” or “both” can be vague. Use separate paragraphs for the introduction, each viewpoint, and your conclusion, and connect each paragraph with clear, precise transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global warming,” “noise pollution,” “migrate,” and “national identity,” and the examples show an effort to use more than basic everyday language. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “people,” “problems,” and “important,” while several inaccurate or unnatural choices make meaning less clear. For instance, “more in trend” and “dirty water” are imprecise in this context, and “pesticides” does not name an animal group in the list of sea creatures. Spelling and word-form errors, including “specied” and “envrionmental,” are also noticeable. Build a more precise environmental vocabulary and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which,” and “as.” This gives you some variety, but complex sentences are often difficult to control, and frequent errors can make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “There were two opinion,” “the factories … released their dirty water,” and “every year we lost dozens of people,” where agreement or tense is inconsistent. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention; several sentences are joined with commas or run on for a long time, as in the discussion of animals leaving forests and migrating. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled subordinate clauses and correct punctuation.
