Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You attempt to discuss both views and state a preference, saying that environmental problems affecting people are “more important than others.” However, the two sides are not clearly distinguished or developed: species loss is mentioned briefly, while pollution receives a list of types rather than a reasoned comparison. The claim that species are “about to extinct” is not supported with an example or explanation, and your own position is difficult to interpret because you also say both views are right. The response is 242 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum. To strengthen the response, explain why species loss matters, compare it with another environmental threat, and make your opinion consistent and explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to move from an introduction to discussion and then a personal view, and phrases such as “And talking about” signal a change of focus. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, so the reader cannot easily see the essay’s stages. Ideas also run together: the list of pollution types leads directly into a broad claim about daily life without a clear supporting link. Repeated phrases such as “I think” and “This is what I wana say” do not create a clear progression, and the opening is difficult to follow. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and connect each claim to an explanation or example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “species,” “extinct,” and “air pollution” and “water pollution,” so the subject is recognisable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling errors make several phrases difficult to understand, such as “envirnomnet,” “aninals,” and “envirnomental.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, including “going to an end,” “basic problems,” and “un comfertable noice.” Aim for accurate environmental terms and natural collocations rather than repeating general words such as “problem” and “worse.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise phrases will make your ideas clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts some longer sentence forms, for example, “If not solved may bring the world to its end,” and uses clauses to connect ideas. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or difficult to follow. The opening fragment, “Talking about the environmental problems or that the problems about particular species,” has no clear main clause, while “the people who speak about teh envinpmental problem are saying are right” contains an unclear clause structure. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and verb forms, as in “the most of the plants” and “species are about to extinct.” These errors frequently affect clarity. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and verb patterns.
