Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You mention both the loss of species and other environmental concerns, including deforestation, noise, pollution, and rising temperatures, and you give a brief personal view that countries should act. However, the discussion does not clearly explain why species loss is considered the main problem, and most of the response focuses on other issues without comparing their relative importance. The opinion, “all countries should to solve a good solution,” is difficult to interpret and is not supported with a clear reason. The examples about European heat and tree removal are relevant, but they need explanation linking them to your argument. Develop both viewpoints explicitly, then state which you consider more serious and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is an attempt to organise the response into paragraphs, and phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In my opinion” signal a change of focus. However, the ideas are not arranged in a clear progression: the opening introduces species loss, but the next paragraph moves to tree removal, followed by several loosely connected environmental problems. The relationship between these points is often unclear, as in “Transport and other things is very dangerous for environment” followed by the temperature issue. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, and references such as “these things” do not identify precisely which actions are meant. Group related points into a paragraph for each view, use clearer links between cause and effect, and finish with a conclusion that directly answers the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “species,” “factories,” “chemicals,” and “temperature,” so the general subject is usually recognisable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled choices strain understanding: “noise pullution,” “different dieases,” “tempreatue,” and “truely.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “remove their chemicals in the air” and “make the road replaced of plants.” Repeated use of “problem,” “dangerous,” and “different” limits precision. Build a topic vocabulary for causes and consequences, and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “release chemicals into the air” and “clear land for housing” to express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response mainly uses short, simple statements, with a few attempts to join ideas using “and” or “in this way.” These attempts often produce faulty sentences, and frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “all countries in the world remove differents plants,” “These things is make,” and “people does not tolerance this wave.” The opening also begins a new sentence with lowercase “some,” while several sentences run ideas together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check singular and plural agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and sentence boundaries.
