Student answer (Band 4.5)

In the recent time, some people believe that the main enviromental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals, while other think that it is very important environmental problems. In this essay will discuss the both trends of environment problem reduce our non-living thing and inhabitants, whereas few individual think that it is crucial environment problem. I strongly believe that in present time enviroment get damage more and reduce the species which is very negative impact on humans.

On the one hand, society become upgrading with lot of infrastructure and industries due to this plants affect the most. Furthermore, over population and pollution affect the forest animals because now government made up housing plans to get sufficient home to people, for that they just dimishing the forest and convert into big building. In addition, in that process there are many plants, tree and animal were cutted. For example, if the cities have over population and people can not affort private housing scheme, then government take another step for poor people to get shelter, however, in that we loss many tress. Moreover, due to global warming tress are affected like strome and heating in that case tress are burn automatically because of natural calamities.

On the other hand, some individual think it very important environmental problem because they are very heartless people who do not think about non living things. Nowadays, people do not care about enviroment because they just want money from cutting them. For instance, people cut the tree and palnts for making product like, paper, bottle , furniture and many more, whereas there are very community who cut animal for their meal, which is very bad for enivroment. In addition, if the nature will ruined by public then the lifestyle get dull of ordinary people and next generation will not get chance to learn about palnts and animals due to lack of availability.

In conclusion, some people say that the main environment problem of our time reduce the animals and plants, while other belived that it is necessary to enivromental problem. Therefore, I strongly belived that lossing a particualr species is not good for humans, if enironmental problem cause by natural calamites then it is fine, but cutting them for fuufilled human basic needs it is not better idea.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address the topic by discussing species loss and referring to other environmental pressures, including pollution, population growth, housing development and resource use. Your view is present, particularly in the opening and conclusion, where you argue that human-caused damage and species loss are harmful. However, the two views are not clearly distinguished: the second body paragraph describes people exploiting nature rather than explaining what other environmental problems they consider more important. The position also shifts when you say natural damage is acceptable, without explaining this distinction. Examples such as forest clearance are relevant, but their connection to the competing views needs clearer explanation and development.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some guidance through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the second body paragraph moves from people’s attitudes to products made from trees, animal consumption and effects on future generations without showing how these points support the opposing view. Linking phrases such as “Furthermore,” “In addition” and “Moreover” are repeated or used where the relationship between ideas is not clear. Improve cohesion by grouping related points and using explicit references to connect each example to the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “global warming,” “pollution,” “infrastructure,” “species” and “natural calamities,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or repetitive choices make meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “reduce our non-living thing,” “environmental problem reduce the animals and plants” and “the lifestyle get dull” do not express the intended ideas clearly. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “enviromental,” “diminishing,” “trees” and “fulfilled,” alongside imprecise collocations such as “government made up housing plans.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for habitat loss, biodiversity and competing environmental threats, and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You try to use both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “whereas” and “if.” This shows an attempt to express causes and conditions. However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas hard to understand. Examples include “In this essay will discuss,” “society become upgrading,” and “there are many plants, tree and animal were cutted.” Subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction need more reliable control. Some sentences also join several ideas without clear punctuation, as in the final sentence. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time and check each sentence for a complete grammatical structure.
