Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this devloping world, environmental problems become critical to handle because of growing infrastructure and construct new buildings. Some people believe that the main environmental problem is we loss of particular spicies of plants and animals. Whereas, others people say there are more important environmental problems to carry. In my view of point, i partally agree with both statments because both arguments have there own believes for nature problems.
On the one hand, it is a bitter truth that we losses rare plants and animals in our lives. Nowadays, government making new roads or buildings for devlop country economy, becuase of this they are cutting forest. In addition, animlas who lives only in trees lost there homes such as, spider monkey and koala. This spicies are rare to found current days. Moreover, cutting forest also losses some rare plants which are very usefuel in vaccination or as a medician. For example, arjuna tree and neem tree. It is a shameful for us we losses rare palnts or animlas from our life.
On the other hand, there are many other problmes which harm environmental health. Firstly, big factories and vehiclas burn fuels which increase carbon pollution on air and affect peoples heath. Secondly, people are throw garbage on beaches and roads, which pollute our cities and also harm to animals in sea. For example, people throw plastic waste on sea so some of fish eat this so they could be die. People have to take care of the environmental problmes and have to fin solution for this.
To sum up, both the statments are important factors for environmetal, we losses particular species of plant and animals but we can grow it again by planting more trees and save animals in zoo. Furthermore, there are also major problems for enviroments is factories, vehicals and garbage, it can be easily to solve if people become active.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a personal position, stating that you “partally agree with both” and then discussing species loss alongside pollution from factories, vehicles and waste. The examples of forest clearance affecting koalas and spider monkeys, and plastic harming fish, make the discussion relevant. However, the position is not fully clear: the conclusion says both problems matter but does not explain which you consider more important or how you weigh them. Some points are also under-developed. For instance, you mention that species can be protected in zoos or replanted, but do not explain the limits of these measures; similarly, the pollution discussion lists effects without comparing their scale or urgency with biodiversity loss. Develop these comparisons to make your opinion more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the discussion. Within paragraphs, ideas generally progress from a claim to examples, such as forest cutting followed by its effects on animals and plants. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Whereas” begins a fragment after the opening sentence, and “Firstly” and “Secondly” create a list rather than showing how the pollution examples relate to the central comparison. References such as “this” in “This spicies are rare” are not always clear. Use complete linking structures and make the relationship between examples and your opinion explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss the issue, including “carbon pollution,” “rare plants,” “forest,” “plastic waste,” and “environmental health.” Some choices show an attempt to be specific, such as naming the neem tree and koala. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “devloping,” “spicies,” “usefuel,” and “medician” are examples. Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “problems to carry,” “in my view of point,” and “vaccination” where a more suitable term is needed. Build a reliable set of collocations for environmental topics and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help distinguish habitat destruction, species extinction, air pollution, and waste contamination.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “because of this they are cutting forest” and a relative clause in “animals who lives only in trees.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas are usually understandable. However, there are some recurring errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “government making” needs a finite verb, “animals who lives” has incorrect agreement, and “we losses” is not the correct verb form. The opening “Whereas, others people say…” is a fragment, while “people are throw garbage” combines verb forms incorrectly. Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, tense, and articles; this will make your meaning more consistently clear.
