Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argus that the main cause of the enviromrntal problem is pollution, cutting trees, etc. Some people believe that main environmental issus is loss praticular species of plants and animals. However, other believe that thre are more important enviromental issuse. From my point of view there are a lot of enviromental issuse and we should on that issuse fairstly because issue such as globale climent change and increasing the global tempurture are key are to foucuse

The key reason behind believes that there is main enviromental issuse of lossing particular species of plant and animals are plant are signifent for servival for all living been and animals contribut to maintain food chain. This is well known fact that trees give us oxygen and food, cut the tree crate extremaly negetive impact on nature and reduce the qulity of the air. trees also contribut to the rain cycle. Futhermore, lossing of animals are consider as major issuse of enviroments because the different kinds of animals assist nature to maintain the food cycle. food cycle also significant to human aslo because humans depend on nature to fulfil their requirement. In 1990 the rearch published wich show the importence of different kinds of species and they also did a experiment on that thing.

However, other consider that there are many mainly issue of enviroments are cutting trees and dump company wast. the main issuse of enviroments is cutting down trees and throw the wast product in nature due to this enviroment get pollute. the example of this is delhi where people cuting trees and pollute nature. As a result of this the air qulitu of delhi is beyond the dengours level.

In conclusion, there are some people assume that there are only one main issuse to focus to. However other consider that there are other more signifecant to focus as weel.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both views: the paragraph on species loss explains the roles of plants in providing oxygen and supporting rainfall, and animals in maintaining food chains, while the next paragraph raises tree removal and company waste. However, the task asks you to compare these environmental concerns and give a clear personal opinion. Your opening says there are many issues and mentions climate change and rising temperatures, but this position is not developed or consistently connected to the discussion. The conclusion also restates the two views without saying which you consider more important. The research reference is too vague to support the point. To strengthen the response, state your view directly and explain why one problem is more serious, using a specific, relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and transitions such as “However” and “Furthermore” help signal changes in direction. The main ideas are generally grouped by viewpoint, so readers can identify the broad structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from species loss to trees, rainfall, animals and an unspecified study without showing how each point supports the central claim. The second paragraph repeats tree cutting and pollution rather than developing a distinct comparison. Linking phrases are sometimes used mechanically, and references such as “that thing” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one controlling idea, connect examples explicitly to it, and make the conclusion follow from the position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “food chain,” “rain cycle,” “global climate change” and “air quality,” and these choices show awareness of environmental issues. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors make the writing difficult to read, for example “enviromental,” “particular,” “signifent” and “dengours.” Word choice and collocation are also frequently inaccurate: “lossing of animals,” “dump company wast” and “the air quality … is beyond the dangerous level” do not express the ideas naturally. Repetition of “main issue” and “environment” further limits flexibility. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully; use precise expressions such as “species extinction,” “industrial waste” and “hazardous air pollution.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, such as “This is well known fact that trees give us oxygen and food,” and use basic sentence patterns to communicate the main topic. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in articles, agreement and verb forms occur throughout: “other believe,” “trees give us oxygen,” followed by “cut the tree crate,” and “the different kinds of animals assist nature.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, including the run-on “requirement. In 1990.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached supporting clause, then check articles, plural forms, subject–verb agreement and punctuation before adding more complex structures.
