Student answer (Band 5.5)
It it argued by some individuals that the major environmental obstacle is losing particular species of plants and animals, Other argued that there are more crucial problems that should be sloved. I partly agree both of these perspections.
Some people argue that, losing different kinds of creatures like plants and animals are causing environmental issues. For instance, there is a report that big trees like Banyan are cutting down to make big industries. As a result, it will cause to global warming such as : already we are suffering from el-nino, which utimately creating excessive hot weather in each country. Also, if we look at some animals like Royal Bengal Tiger of Bangladesh, the numbers of breeding are already decreasing over the years. As a result, the country is loosing their traditional animal , which is also known their national animal. In addition, the cycle of habitation is destroying. The number of small animals will increase and beside that big animals will decrease. For such incidents, those people are aware of saving these animals and plants because, each animals has their habitant and thats how the earth cycle runs.
On the other hand, people from different perspective thinks that other enviromental problems such as emissions and water cleaning projects should be count as a major problems. Because the sea is getting dirty and because of that water pollution and air pollution are happening. It is thouroughly distroying the area for residents.
I partly agree with both views that have been discussed, we should take care of each animals beside that we have to make our sorroundings clean. As a result, we can create a fresh and healthy environment.
To summarize, both paragraphs has legit outcomes and government should take crucial steps to safe the plants, animals and infrastuctures.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a position—“I partly agree with both”—so the response is relevant to the question. The discussion of species loss includes examples of tree cutting and the Bengal tiger, while the second view mentions pollution and water-cleaning projects. However, the position remains broad, and the reasons are not developed evenly: the first view receives several examples, whereas the alternative environmental problems are only briefly named. Some claims, such as tree loss directly causing El Niño, need clearer explanation or more reliable support. To strengthen the response, explain why pollution or another environmental threat may be more urgent, then make your own comparison explicit and support it with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through the discussion. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “As a result,” and “On the other hand.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because the sea is getting dirty and because of that water pollution and air pollution are happening” repeats the causal link without explaining it, and the shift from species loss to “the cycle of habitation” is difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the position rather than drawing the two arguments together. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports its paragraph’s main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant environmental vocabulary, including “global warming,” “water pollution,” “emissions,” and “breeding,” and you attempt more specific terms such as “Royal Bengal Tiger.” This gives the response enough topic-related language to communicate its main ideas. However, word choice, spelling, and collocation errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear: “environmental obstacle,” “cycle of habitation,” and “water cleaning projects” are not natural or precise in context. There are also repeated basic words such as “big” and “problems,” alongside misspellings such as “sloved” and “enviromental.” Build a more accurate range of environmental collocations and check spelling, while choosing terms that express the intended relationship precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “Some people argue that, losing different kinds of creatures … are causing” has faulty punctuation and agreement, while “the numbers of breeding are already decreasing” has an unclear grammatical construction. Other examples include “each animals has” and “both paragraphs has,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Sentence boundaries and commas also need attention, as in the opening sentence, which joins separate ideas with a comma. Practise accurate agreement, articles, and clause punctuation before adding more complex structures.
