Student answer (Band 4.5)

Discussions about community problems have long been ongoing among peoples as it has many pros and cons. Todays the world become modern and most of the peoples want to build his houses from wood. So to construct the house to need the wood they cut down the trees from jungle which effects is oxygen level is down and most of the animal are going to death.

In the vicinity of the area where are living organisms should remained. Additionally we see most of the animals and species are immigration from affected vicinity to spoiled areas where they feel safe and quite. Due to ambitious places to see lots of wild generation are expired. Thats is the biggest environment problems.

On the other hand If there is a dearth of interesting places and resources for recreation. However in the vicinity of hometown there are copious housing societies with modern amenities. From my perspective way when peoples cutting the plants and trees from jungles and city of center for the construction of building ,emporiums, colleges also roads are on and of packed here. Thats not good sign for nature.

For examples when i was about 8 year and conferred a trip with my family. As a matter of fact. I always savor a stay in exploring. I really unwound riding on such adventoures roads in between trees run through mountain with overhung trees virgin forest, scenic of beauty and greenery and most animals and birds chirping and cheeping at trees were fascinating i may not collect my outstanding feeling for those moments in words. In present days they all disappeared.

In conclusion its beneficial for humans and environment to maintain the nature of pleasant. Animals such a beautiful living organisms on the earth so its our responsibility to keep them safe.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify habitat destruction and the disappearance of animals and plants as environmental concerns, and your childhood trip gives a personal example of what has been lost. However, the task asks you to discuss both the view that species loss is the main problem and the view that other environmental problems are more important, then give a clear opinion. The response mainly describes tree cutting and species loss; the alternative view is only hinted at in the unclear sentence about a “dearth of interesting places and resources for recreation.” Your position appears to favour protecting nature, but it is not clearly stated or supported through a comparison of the two views. Develop the second perspective with a specific issue, such as climate change or pollution, and explain why you consider one problem more serious.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has separate paragraphs and uses basic signposts such as “On the other hand,” “For examples,” and “In conclusion,” so the reader can see an attempt to organise the discussion. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from one paragraph to the next: the opening introduces housing and tree cutting, the second shifts to animal migration, and the third begins with recreation before returning to construction. Several links are difficult to follow, particularly “In the vicinity of the area where are living organisms should remained.” The long personal anecdote also interrupts the argument rather than clearly supporting a point. Give each body paragraph one purpose—one for each view—and use clear topic sentences and references to connect examples to your opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related and less common vocabulary, including “living organisms,” “modern amenities,” “ambitious places,” and “scenic of beauty.” This shows an effort to go beyond very basic wording, but many choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. For example, “ambitious places” does not clearly describe habitats, while “wild generation are expired” appears to refer to wildlife becoming extinct. There are also spelling and word-form problems, such as “adventoures” and “Todays.” Build a more reliable set of environmental terms and check collocations before using them. Prefer precise expressions such as “natural habitats,” “species are becoming extinct,” and “deforestation” where they fit your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a sentence beginning “Due to…” and the extended description of your trip. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which can obscure the intended meaning. For instance, “Todays the world become modern” lacks accurate tense and sentence formation, and “they cut down the trees from jungle which effects is oxygen level is down” contains several problems with clause structure and agreement. Articles, plurals, and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “most of the animal are going to death.” Punctuation and capitalisation need more control, particularly after sentence openings such as “On the other hand.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking each clause has a subject and a correctly formed verb.
