Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, losing of specific species of flora and fauna is the main environmental difficulties of our time. For many people, especially the older ones are more concern about the damages the habitat is facing. Rest individuals has a different concern they did not show any value towards categories of plants and animals. In this essay I discuss some of the reasons why surroundings play an important part in our life and some of the challenges to be overcome.

From one perspective, it is often believed that species is precise for the nations. On the other side environmental problems are grow rapidly because of losses a certain habitats. Moreover, its main source is wildlife and vegetations. For instance, in few decades ago there are many creatures that are live in jungle because there are less populations of human beings as compared to present days. As habitats are build up and peoples want to live separate place from the rainforest as result of this they cut down trees and plants. Additionally, most peoples start hunting of animals it is a hobby that past generations will do it in their free time.

Another key consideration is that, there are others problems a part from species firstly, the difficulty is about pollution in both urban and rural areas it is caused by factories and taint vehicles. Secondly noise pollution in such areas there are so much population and the area was congested as an outcome of this its impacts on our environment.

To sum up, the both concern about individuals has a correct point at their own place it is very important to come through the main problem and work for it together to save many environmental problems it results in many health issue that a human can face.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides by discussing species and habitat loss, then mentioning pollution and noise pollution as other environmental concerns. However, the task is only partially developed: the first view is not clearly explained as a claim about species loss being the main problem, and the second view is supported mainly by brief references to pollution. Your own position is also difficult to identify. The conclusion says both concerns have “a correct point,” but does not state which you consider more important or explain how the issues compare. Some examples, such as past generations hunting animals, are mentioned without showing their scale or environmental consequences. Make your opinion explicit in the introduction and conclusion, and develop each view with a clear reason and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different concerns, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader see the broad stages of the discussion, and transitions such as “From one perspective,” “Additionally,” and “To sum up” signal movement between points. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph shifts between species, habitats, population growth, tree cutting, and hunting without clearly connecting these points to the central comparison. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or mechanical, and references such as “its main source” and “it results” are unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main view, then explain and support it in sequence; use pronouns only when their reference is unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “flora and fauna,” “habitats,” “rainforest,” and “pollution,” which gives the response some relevant environmental language. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “species is precise for the nations” does not clearly express why species matter, while “taint vehicles” and “separate place from the rainforest” are not natural expressions in this context. There is also repetition of general terms such as “problem,” “people,” and “environment.” Build a more precise set of phrases for biodiversity, habitat destruction, and pollution, and check that each word fits its surrounding phrase. The suggestions below offer practical alternatives.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and attempts at longer structures, including clauses introduced by “because,” “as,” and “that.” This shows an effort to express causes and consequences, but the range remains limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in examples such as “species is,” “problems are grow,” and “creatures that are live.” Sentence boundaries and clause construction also cause difficulty: “For many people, especially the older ones are more concern…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “as result of this” is not correctly formed. Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and how to join clauses. Aim first for accurate, complete sentences, then add more varied structures.
