Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this contemporary era of technology, few individuals opine that the crucial geological issue of their period is the distinction of specific species of flora and fauna, while rest of believe thta there are several vital environmental causes are there. I firmly agree with latter statement due to an earth environment totally dependent on plants as well as animals who is maintaning or balancing ecological cycle of an earth. Latter statement has more releance than fomer statement. The mentioned statement will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs along with relevant examples from my point of view.
To commence with former notion, other say that there are more important environmental problems, such as air pollution and water, soil pollution.
To elucidate, there are several environmental causes, such as air quality index that comes under air pollution; furthermore, water, soil pollution that caused by over utilization chemical fertilizers that disolves in the soil and produce harm to the water in rainy days. Hence, problems arised by mankind on earth.
Shifting attention towards the latter statement, main environmental issues are loss of perticular species of plants and animals from the earth. To explicate, some of the specific species of flora as well as fauna is distincting from earth that may halt the whole ecological cycle of earth that ensures the life balance between the humans and other inhabitnats of earth such as flowers, animals. To illustrates, according ot the survey report of the International Union of Earth's wellbeing some of the species distincted on the past time that is significant of earths health. Thus, importance of every plant and animal who lives on earth.
In conclusion, I firmly in the favour of latter statement due to its important point that discussed in given paragraphs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a position in the introduction—“I firmly agree with latter statement”—and refer to both environmental concerns. However, the response does not clearly discuss both views as the prompt requires: the first body paragraph lists pollution, but does not explain why it may be more important than species loss, while the next paragraph focuses on species loss. Your position is also confusing because the introduction first says you agree with the view that other problems are more important, then argues that species loss is more relevant; the conclusion again supports the latter, without resolving this contradiction. The example attributed to a survey is vague and does not substantiate the claim. Develop each side and state one consistent opinion clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To commence with” and “Shifting attention” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the two views are not assigned clearly to the body paragraphs, and the position changes between the introduction and the discussion. Some links are mechanical or unclear: “Hence” does not clearly show how the preceding explanation leads to its conclusion, and “Thus” introduces a fragment rather than a complete concluding idea. The conclusion repeats a general preference instead of drawing together the discussion. Use topic sentences that identify each view, connect explanations explicitly, and ensure each paragraph advances the same argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “flora and fauna,” “ecological cycle,” “air pollution,” and “chemical fertilizers,” which gives the response some relevant environmental language. However, the range is limited by repetition and several inaccurate or unnatural choices that make meaning less clear. For example, “geological issue” does not fit the topic, “distinction of specific species” appears to mean their extinction, and “air quality index that comes under air pollution” is not a natural description. Spelling and word-form errors such as “perticular,” “maintaning,” and “distincting” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of environmental terms and check collocations and spelling; the suggestions below offer useful replacements.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “species … that may halt the whole ecological cycle” and a cause-and-effect explanation about fertilizers. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “there are several vital environmental causes are there,” “water, soil pollution that caused by,” and “some … species … is distincting,” where clause structure, verb forms and subject–verb agreement are not controlled. The opening sentence also contains several linked grammatical problems, obscuring the contrast between the views. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check agreement, articles and complete sentence structure during revision.
