Student answer (Band 5.0)

Atmospheric problems are the most dangerous and mainstream nowadays. Several individuals argue that envoirnmental issues have played a crucial roles in the extenction of specific types of plants and animals, despite this, some says enviornmental problems causes another crucial troubals. From my perspective, these concerns causes for loss of some species and also have negative impacts on human health and also becoming cause of global warming.

First and foremost, problems that approched by changes in weather and rising tempratures have divestating impacts on plants and other living animals live. Because, some gategories of trees and animals grows in particular atmosphere and if atmoshpere is changed by enviornmental variations it becomes difficult for these living creations to survive. For instance, Polar bears were very prominant and ubiquitos in Swizerland. But in recent decades they are vanished because the temprature of the area where they used to live increased massively and consequently they lost their strenght and became extinct.

Furthermore, the increasing atmospheric issues are becoming harmful for humans health and they caused to other illness. In addition, global warming has been climbed very rapidly in recent years. Global warming is also a trouble for humans and other living things. Foe exampe, in the Pakistan there have been seen a massive growth in the number of patients who suffer from asthma and cancer problems. These problems are because of increasing pollution in atmosphere.

In conclusion, enviornmental dilemmas have detrimental effects on the lives of humans and other living creations. Moreover, the are accountable for varoius disease and also cause for global warming.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response touches on environmental damage to species and other problems, but it does not clearly discuss the two views set out in the question. The first body paragraph focuses on climate change and species loss, while the next mentions human illness and global warming; however, the essay does not explain why some people consider species loss the main problem or compare it with other environmental threats. Your opinion is also difficult to identify: the introduction says these concerns cause species loss and affect health, but it does not state which view you consider more important. The examples are relevant in intention, yet the polar-bear example is geographically inaccurate and the Pakistan health claim is not explained. Develop each side separately and give a direct, supported judgement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help identify the sections. However, progression between the task’s two views is unclear: the first paragraph discusses species loss through climate change, and the second shifts to human health and global warming without explicitly framing these as competing environmental priorities. Some links are mechanical or confusing, as in “despite this” and “In addition,” where the relationship between ideas is not fully clear. The conclusion largely repeats the general claim rather than resolving the comparison. Organise the body around each view, then connect them through a clear comparison and a consistent position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response attempts topic-related vocabulary, including “extinction,” “atmospheric issues,” “global warming,” “detrimental effects” and “living creations.” This gives the essay some relevant range, but inaccurate spelling and word choice are frequent enough to make parts difficult to read, for example “envoirnmental,” “extenction,” “troubals” and “varoius.” Several expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “global warming has been climbed” and “caused to other illness” do not convey the intended meaning clearly. Prefer accurate, familiar environmental terms over ambitious but uncertain phrasing, and check spelling carefully. For example, “species extinction,” “rising temperatures” and “increased the number of cases” would express the ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if atmosphere is changed … it becomes difficult … to survive” and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “Because.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence formation occur throughout. Examples include “some says,” “these concerns causes,” “animals grows,” and the fragment “Because, some categories…”. The sentence beginning “From my perspective” also joins several ideas without a clear grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make the intended relationships difficult to follow. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. For instance: “Some species depend on specific habitats, so rapid climate change can make survival difficult.”
