Student answer (Band 5.5)
Environmental problems are the major concerns of todays time. Some people believe that the extinction of different species of wildlife animals and the botany too is the environmental problem. While, other argues that there are more vital climate concerns to worry about. However, I personally believe that both of the problems are equally important to think about.
To embark with, there were so many wild animals who lost their habitat because of the deforestation and industrialization. This happend because of the human needs of living places. Also the needs of foods and thing which are important for living. Many landfields were taken by farmers for farming cereals, vegetables and other raw foods. In addition, for mass production. For example, factories were built for mass filtration of oils, mass production of clothings and the food packaging. This results in the loss of many wild species and plants as well.
On the same side, The pollution produced by these industries is creating a vital impact on the soil, air, water rources etc. The pollution is penetrating the ozon layer which is very dangerous for the human well-being. In addition, the pollution produce by mankind day-by-day is increaseing too. For example, According to the article of TIMES OF INDIA, the air quility is being affecting due to the co2 and other harmful gases produced by cars' exosts and the air conditioners. This is a very bad sign for the mankid and really important to take action.
In my opinion, both of the environmental problems are really vital for human bieng; really important to take serious action on, for the better future.
In conclusion, loss of perticular species of plants and animals is a serious environmental problem to worry; Other climate problems like pollution: air pollution, soil pollution and water pollution are the concerns too for taking action. I personally believe that both are equally important for human being.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear opinion: “both of the problems are equally important.” The response also gives relevant causes and examples, including habitat loss linked to deforestation and pollution from industry and vehicles. However, the two views are not developed equally clearly. The discussion of species loss focuses mainly on habitat destruction, while the other view shifts to pollution without explaining how it compares in importance with species loss. Some claims, such as pollution “penetrating the ozon layer,” are unclear or insufficiently explained. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each problem and support your balanced opinion with a more direct comparison of their effects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the overall direction easy to follow. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, however: “To embark with” and “On the same side” do not naturally introduce the points that follow, and “While” begins a fragment in the introduction. Within the first body paragraph, “In addition, for mass production” is also left as an incomplete thought. The conclusion repeats the opinion but does not bring the main reasoning together. Use straightforward transitions such as “First,” “By contrast,” and “Overall,” and connect each supporting detail clearly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “deforestation,” “industrialization,” “habitat,” and “pollution,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range and control of word choice are uneven, and several inaccurate or unnatural expressions make parts less clear. Examples include “wildlife animals,” “the botany,” “landfields,” and “air quality is being affecting.” There are also spelling errors such as “ozon,” “exosts,” and “mankid.” Aim for precise environmental terms and check spelling and collocations; for instance, use “wildlife species,” “plant life,” and “agricultural land.” This would make your ideas clearer and more natural without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including a relative clause in “animals who lost their habitat” and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “This happened because…”. However, sentence control is inconsistent, and some structures are incomplete or contain errors in agreement and verb form. For example, “other argues” should have a plural subject and matching verb, while “the pollution produce … is increaseing” has problems with both the verb form and sentence construction. “In addition, for mass production” is a fragment, and the opening “While” clause is not joined to a complete main clause. Practise building complete sentences around each idea and checking subject–verb agreement, tense, and clause connections.
