Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, stunts in action films are influencing young people in society. Many individuals believe that this fictional violence portrayed on TV has no negitive cosiquences, while others believe that it encourages violent behavior. It has both pros and cons. This essay will discuss both arguments before explaining my opinion.
One one hand, Fictional Films are very famous among youngsters and people often see themselves in the place of characters. Young people follow their habits and ways of life in the real life that can be harmful at some points. For instance, a 17-year-old teenager see a scen in a film to make poison from apple seads to insure he follow that and harm himself or others around him. In addition, recently these incidents are increasing inn the society in which individuals trying to capture the same stunts as the character is doing in the movie. These kind of films really influence the Young minds.
Turning to the other side of the argument, People who love action find these movies thriling and just watch them for entertainment. They know that reality is far more different from this fictional world. They often influence by the movie characters for thier qualities like body, strength, and decisions. Many fictional movies help people to relax far from the realities of the world.
However, the negatives outweigh the benefits of fictional violence films.I strongly believe that these kinds of films are banned for the people of aged under 20 because it negatively influence their mind.
In conclusion, these kinds of fictional films are more threatening for youngsters than entertainment. So we need to take a balanced approach to make children aware of reality.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear opinion: you explain that viewers may enjoy action films as entertainment, then argue that the risks to young people outweigh the benefits. The example of a teenager copying a dangerous scene is relevant and helps illustrate your concern. However, the discussion is unevenly developed. The harmless-entertainment view is supported mainly by saying that films help people relax, while the opposing view receives more explanation. Your proposal to ban these films for people under 20 is also asserted rather than justified, and the conclusion’s call for a “balanced approach” is not clearly connected to that proposal. Develop both sides with specific reasoning and make your final position consistent and fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On one hand,” “Turning to the other side,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. This coherent arrangement meets the expected level, and the reader can generally identify how each paragraph relates to the task. To make the organisation more flexible and precise, avoid relying so heavily on formulaic transitions and strengthen links between claims and examples. For instance, the final recommendation to take a “balanced approach” follows a strong call for a ban, but the relationship between these ideas is not explained. Clearer referencing and transitions between your evidence and conclusions would improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “fictional violence,” “violent behaviour,” “stunts,” and “entertainment,” and you attempt some more specific expressions such as “capture the same stunts.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “negitive cosiquences,” “thriling,” and “thier.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “people of aged under 20” and “far from the realities of the world” do not express the ideas smoothly. These errors do not prevent the main message from being understood, but they reduce clarity and control. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause in “while others believe…” and a relative clause in “the same stunts as the character is doing.” The overall meaning is usually understandable, but errors occur in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “a 17-year-old teenager see” needs subject–verb agreement, and “They often influence by the movie characters” is missing the correct passive form. The opening of the second paragraph, “One one hand,” also needs correction, while capitalisation after commas is inconsistent. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, and use complex structures only when you can control their grammar.
