Student answer (Band 5.5)
Introduction, there is ongoing debate regarding, Many individual beleave that the fictional violence represent on television is non-toxic. However, others claim that it motivates violent behavior. Therefore, ahead of my opinion, both the views will discused further.
One the one hand, the primary argrument the supporters would put forward is fictional violence show on televison is harmless. Nowdays peoples are used to watch several types of violent shows. Many peoples like to watch brutal action shows and movies as hobby these movies helps them to reduce stress and feel relaxed after a hectic day. for example: i also watch violence movies on daily basis as hobby and to be honest i dont think those shows encourages me towards violence.
On the second hand, those in favour of the latter opinion have their own arguments, To begin with, they claim that violence shows enourages violent behavior to some extent i agree with that because many people watch brutality shows sometimes these shows works as a adrenaline which was injected several people and it can lead towards aggression and violence. for example: when people watch brutals movies they wanted to try the same action in real life which is very dangerous for norma; individual. Childrens was easily influence and try same scenes in life life in todays many pupils was jumped on the buildings because they watch super heroes shows they can easily influence those kind of action movies which can lead to be a dangeroes trategy in real life.
To conclude and offer my position there are convincing arguments both for and against brutality shows on tv is harmless entertainment. However, I certainly favour that it encourages violent behaviour specially childrens

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear personal position: the first body paragraph presents television violence as stress-relieving entertainment, while the second argues that it can encourage aggression, especially among children. Your examples, including your own viewing and children imitating superhero scenes, are relevant to the question. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the harmless-entertainment argument relies mainly on personal experience, and the claim about children is broad and would benefit from a clearer explanation or a specific, credible example. The introduction also promises to discuss both views but does not preview your position clearly. Develop the reasoning behind each claim and explain more precisely why you ultimately consider the risks more persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from the harmlessness argument to the potential risks is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand” and “To conclude” help identify the stages. However, some linking is mechanical or inaccurate: “On the second hand” is not the appropriate counterpart to “On the one hand,” and “ahead of my opinion” makes the introduction’s relationship between ideas unclear. Several sentences in the second body paragraph run together, making the example about children difficult to follow. Use more precise transitions and divide long explanations into clear sentences, with pronouns that unmistakably refer to the people or programmes being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “violent behaviour,” “aggression,” and “harmless entertainment,” and you attempt less common expressions such as “hectic day.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts of the argument harder to understand. Examples include “non-toxic” for harmless, “brutals movies,” “norma; individual,” and “dangeroes trategy.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “works as a adrenaline” and “injected several people.” Build a more accurate set of collocations for discussing media effects, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the difference between entertainment, influence, and imitation without relying repeatedly on “shows” and “violence.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause in “because many people watch…” and a relative clause in “which is very dangerous.” This shows some range, but control is uneven, particularly in longer sentences. There are errors in agreement and verb forms, as in “these movies helps” and “Childrens was easily influence,” as well as missing or incorrect articles and plural forms. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: the second body paragraph contains several ideas joined together, while the introduction begins with a fragment-like construction. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, tense, articles, and punctuation. Breaking complex explanations into shorter, accurately controlled sentences would make your meaning clearer.
