Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays Fictional violence based television shows are talk of the town. it become for popular due to internet. But day by day criminal offences are becoming the worst threat to our society. when comes to entertainment these television shows like crime petrol, or other fictional violence based shows are constantly aware us from potential threats. As a human being we always learn from what we consume. Lately we get into a problem where a person lost his luggage when he was in a taxi. Unfortunately he forget to take his bag with him but the taxi driver take that along with taxi. so based on this episode the passenger report this to the police but police told him that where do you get that taxi? the person was silent cause he get into the taxi randomly. he dont even ask the driver where he is from. after that police successfully caught the driver but it wasn't that much easy because of less information. so after watching this episode we understand that if we get into a private cab we must ask him about his address or take a picture of his cab's license plate instead. so there kind of shows are pragmatic. in other hand many people found there self being motivated by these sort of tv shows . they literally conduct criminal acts like murders, robbery, taking dowry. and it also noticable that many people whom have done this things they hide clues or evidence like they saw in tv.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development is uneven. The first viewpoint is supported by a personal anecdote about a taxi, which is somewhat tangential and lacks the analytical depth required for an academic essay. The second viewpoint is mentioned briefly at the end but lacks sufficient elaboration or specific examples. The position is stated, but the overall argument lacks a clear structure, such as an introduction and a conclusion, which makes the response feel like a single block of text rather than a well-developed essay. To improve, ensure each viewpoint is balanced with clear, logical arguments and a formal structure.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks paragraphing, which is a significant issue for coherence. The ideas are presented in a single block, making it difficult for the reader to follow the transition between the two viewpoints and your own opinion. While there are some cohesive devices used, such as 'in other hand' and 'after that', they are often used incorrectly or mechanically. The progression of ideas is disjointed, particularly the shift from the general topic of television violence to the specific, lengthy anecdote about a taxi. Better use of paragraphing and more sophisticated linking words would greatly improve the flow and logical progression of the essay.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'talk of the town', 'aware us from potential threats', and 'found there self'. The use of 'pragmatic' is a good attempt at higher-level vocabulary, but it is not used in the most appropriate context. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoiding informal or repetitive language. Spelling errors, such as 'noticable', also detract from the overall quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it become for popular', 'taxi driver take that'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, such as 'the person was silent cause he get into the taxi randomly'. While there is an attempt at complex sentences, they are often faulty or contain errors in tense and word order. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of tenses before attempting more complex structures.
