This is a very sensitive subject, fictional violence portrayed on television could be both harmless or harmful, and we could judge his impact on people's behaviour based on their age, because we can't make children under 17 watch fictional violence and expects them to behave normally because thes youngsters mindset is easily manipulated and it will result in changes to their behaviour and personality and change their beliefs. But we can't punish adult that like fictional violence portrayed on television at least they wouldn't be easliy affected with it because they could separate between what's bad and what's good for them and they know if they applied that fictional violence in real life there will be consequences for their actions.

Adults especially men like action with fictional violence movies or series but the youngsters should be banned from watching them, but even if we ban movies and series fictional violence could also be portrayed in the Internet wich is more accessible than movies or series and they won't ask for an age verification this type of sources that offers fictional violence should have more security and also parents should control what their kids are watching and teach them that their actions in real life will come with consequences.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, though the development is somewhat superficial. You discuss the potential harm to children and the ability of adults to distinguish reality from fiction. However, the ideas are not fully extended; for instance, the argument regarding the internet is introduced but not deeply explored. The position is clear, but the essay lacks a formal structure, such as a clear introduction and conclusion, which limits the depth of your analysis. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported idea with specific examples or logical consequences.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often abrupt. There is a lack of cohesive devices (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') to link sentences and arguments logically. For example, the transition between the discussion of children and the mention of the internet is disjointed. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'this type of sources', where the antecedent is not explicitly linked. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You use a limited range of vocabulary, which is often repetitive. Phrases like 'fictional violence portrayed on television' are repeated multiple times, which makes the writing feel monotonous. There are also some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'his impact' (referring to violence) and 'advising' (likely meaning 'guidance' or 'supervision'). While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and precision in your word choices prevents you from reaching a higher band. Try to use synonyms and more precise academic collocations to express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'adults... knows', 'youngsters mindset'), run-on sentences, and incorrect article usage. The sentence structures are mostly simple or compound; there is a lack of complex sentence forms, such as conditional clauses or relative clauses, which are necessary for higher band scores. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma splices. Focusing on basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy and clarity.
