Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is often argued that the fictional crime series and channels which telecasting on television has played a vital role in increasing crime rates while other believe that its a harmless source of entertainment. Therefore I will discuss both the reasons and causes along with my opinion in the upcoming fragments before reaching to a logical solution.

To begin with, the first and foremast reason is fictional violence is to create awareness ,about bullying and personal safety. Individuals who views these content often watches for entertainment but ended up acknowledging some relevant insights. For instance,Young people who are interested in crime series or videos often considered more aware and conscious in the practical life rather than the one who are not interested in these contents. This awareness will not help them in their personal lives but also they can help more individuals from their experience .

On the other hand , through these channels some people who are indulged in these activities can take it as a reference, and it may harm others members of society .for As an example Nowdays,, people can easily influence by the popular TV actors . They can take their acting performance seriously ,and implements the same as for commiting serious crimes like killing, kidnapping ,frauds and assaults.

From my opinion, after taking everything into an account my foregone conclusion is that, It is largely harmless for responsibleviewers. However, excessive exposure particularly among young children, can potentially encourages agressive attitudes. Consequently, appropriate parental guidance and age restrictions are extremely important.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the argument that fictional violence creates awareness about bullying is asserted but not sufficiently explained or supported with a concrete example. The second body paragraph regarding the influence of actors is also quite general. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, detailed examples or logical explanations to support your claims. The conclusion is clear, but the overall development remains somewhat superficial.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'Consequently'. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or misused, such as 'before reaching to a logical solution' or 'for As an example'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay read more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choices, such as 'telecasting on television', 'practical life', and 'indulged in these activities'. You also have some minor spelling and punctuation errors, such as 'foremast' and 'agressive'. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring that your word choices are contextually accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('channels... has played', 'Individuals who views'), missing articles ('in practical life'), and incorrect verb forms ('can easily influence by'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and spacing. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
