Student answer (Band 5.5)

Government should have certain restriction on television entertainment by audience. I am agreed that few content creates harm in their behaviour, at same time it still depends on individual personality.

Those who got influanced instantly by any content showing on television , those people must be choose their category wisely. as their personna tends to reacts what they watched and hear . After certain time , any one can feel the same vibe on them and theirs lifestyle. For example, If someone is thrilled to watch crime shows , his mentality got changes to police, such as he is constantly have sense that all person are victims of certain crime, which allow him to not be create genuine connections. In contrats, watching crime has advantages as well such as you will be more careful on day-to day life and there is less chance that you become part of any crime activities.

On the other hand, category of person who doesn't get influanced by any entertainment , those don't have any issues with their life style irregardelss of whether it is crime, comedy, thriller or anything else. They know whatever they are seeing is intend to entertainment purpose only. All the story, characters are fictional. Those category of people are taking everything casual and make sure that none shows affected them. Children must be avoid fictional violence irregardless of where they falls in category of influanced or not .

Summarizing my perspecitve , fictional violence content is harmful in majority audience but everyone must be learn to take them as awareness activity more along with entertainment .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally unclear. For instance, the explanation of how crime shows change a viewer's mentality to that of 'police' is confusing and lacks logical depth. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments are not fully extended, and the link between fictional violence and real-world behavior is presented in a simplistic manner. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, well-reasoned examples and ensure that your arguments are logically consistent throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In contrats' (spelling error) and 'After certain time' are used to link ideas, but the flow between sentences is frequently disjointed. The referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the pronoun usage makes it difficult to track who the author is referring to. While there is an overall attempt at logical progression, the lack of sophisticated transition words and the repetitive sentence structures hinder the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The range of vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'I am agreed' instead of 'I agree', 'personna tends to reacts' instead of 'personality tends to react', and 'irregardless' which is non-standard. The vocabulary used is generally basic and lacks the precision required for a higher band score. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the frequent errors in word formation and spelling (e.g., 'influanced', 'contrats', 'perspecitve') indicate a need for a more extensive and accurate vocabulary base to express complex ideas effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by grammatical errors. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'few content creates', 'those people must be choose'), article usage, and tense consistency. Punctuation is also problematic, with spaces missing before commas and periods. While the reader can generally understand the intended message, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction significantly impacts the overall quality of the writing. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement.
