IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people think that the fictional violence portrayed on television is harmless entertainment. Others disagree and think that it encourages violent behaviour.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Fictional violence portrayed on television is harmless entertainment for some people.
But in my opinion fictional violence portrayed is harmless.
If i talk about that fictional violence portrayed on television is harmless because it is completely scripted and it does not means to harm any viewer. On television they are just showing their acting skills. A complete disclaimer is shows on screen that means there target is not to discuss others and not to hurt any social personality or any children. There target is to entertain their viewers and earn money through their dramas or films. on the other hand it depends on the viewer how he or she takes it. If viewer takes it on negative way then this is not a entertainer mistake. Viewer needs to enjoy it with positive view.
There are some points in which industry is wrong. Like some of theit dramas which are completely based on violence which is completely wrong because viewers are watching it because of entertainment purpose. Viewers asr just watch television to entertain themselve or get free time passed. If channels shows violence then this is not fair and society will stop watching television because a lot of children are also watching television with their parents and it impacts negative on their minds.some channels need to show a disclaimer before starting a film so it will impacts positive on viewer mind.
If i talk about both opinion both are right but somehow the peoples thinks it is harmless they are more right than the peoples thinks it is not harmless.
In conclusion humans need to take these dramas on poaitive side and enjoy every drama or film with their family and get entertain.
