Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people say that the violence who portrayed in televisions is a harmless entertainment, others disagree and says it encourages violent behavior, and i partly agree with this opinions, as i agree that both opinions have valid points.
In the first hand, some crime movies it not dangerous just for entertainment and don't give bad ideas for example piracy movies it is just imaginations, and people watch this movies to not get bored because all people now go to their homes after hard works and see this movies to make their minds breaks by watching this movies, and they cant do same ideas in the real life for example people cant go in ships now and do piracy. However movie companies cant stop this kind of movies because there are international societies control and rate this movies before show it on televisions so it is safe for watchers.
In the second hand, i agree that some tv shows are dangerous and describe some bad ideas make criminals thinking to do the same, like example there are many films of stoling banks with ideas and technology so criminals will think to do same etapes and make problems. some other shows like nudity shows it is so bad this kind of movies are the worst because there are some people take this shows in serious and go out side to do the same, nowadays many problems of raping because of this bad tv shows.
Finally, my opinion is create international societies evaluate movies before make it visible to society and make sure that it just for pleasure.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the main prompt by discussing both views on fictional television violence and providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument regarding piracy movies as harmless because people cannot steal ships in real life is oversimplified and lacks strong supporting evidence. Similarly, the points regarding crime shows and inappropriate content are mentioned briefly without sufficient extension. While the position is visible throughout, the arguments lack the depth and thorough elaboration required for a higher band, resulting in a partial treatment of the prompt's complexities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some basic organization, dividing the response into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical flow between sentences is occasionally disrupted by mechanical transitions such as 'In the first hand' and 'In the second hand'. Cohesive devices are sometimes used inaccurately or repetitively, such as the excessive repetition of 'this movies' and 'this shows' for referencing. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak, meaning the reader has to work harder to follow the progression of thought from one point to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'international societies', 'imaginations', and 'pleasure', but these are often affected by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form, such as 'stoling banks' instead of 'robbery' or 'stealing from banks', and 'etapes' instead of 'steps'. There are also frequent spelling and morphological issues, like 'harmless entertainment' versus 'a harmless entertainment'. These limitations and noticeable errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and restrict the lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures. While the student attempts some complex sentences, these attempts are frequently faulty, leading to run-on sentences and major structural errors, such as 'Some people say that the violence who portrayed in televisions is a harmless entertainment, others disagree and says it encourages violent behavior, and i partly agree with this opinions'. There are frequent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions inside grammatical patterns, such as 'on televisions' instead of 'on television' and 'make criminals thinking' instead of 'make criminals think'. These errors are frequent and can cause some difficulty and strain for the reader.
