Student answer (Band 5.5)
Most of people belives that the fictional violance that is portrayed on the television is harmless entertainment for the society, while on other hand people also disagree with it and says that it can also encourage violant behavior.
Both of these points are legit it can be also harmless and harmfull for the society such as when childrens used to watch action movies they get awareness that evil should be punished and will have a bad end and you should stand for the right and fight for yourself and also to help others is violance teaches then the right way to live then the violance is considered harmless. As the watch heroes fighting from villans to save their town or someone else life this will have a good impact on their mind and they will know the real meaning of helping others and the joy of kindness.
Violance can also have a very bad impact on society showing violance that have no such moral and just violating rules etc, and showing how criminals dont get punish or get cought after doing crime will have a bad impact on the childrens mind. Showing un meaningfull fight scenes and not showing the art of forgiveness will also badly be impacting the mind of a children. Childrens get motivated by what they watch if we are showing then violance it is sure that one day they will be also a part of this violance they will involve themselves in unnecessary fights and create violace all over
In Conclusion my opinion is that violace if its shown in a good manner against the evil is harmless and can have a good effect but unnecessary violance can disturb the society very much.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on fictional television violence and providing a personal opinion. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on why violence can be harmless mentions children understanding that evil is punished, but this point lacks sufficient extension or specific examples. The position is stated, but the lack of elaboration across body paragraphs means the task is only partially covered. To reach the next level, the writer needs to expand their main ideas with more fully developed explanations and concrete examples to support both perspectives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation present, with distinct paragraphs for the introduction, views, and conclusion, but the overall progression of ideas is hindered by a lack of clear cohesive devices and referencing. Sentences tend to run into one another without adequate transitional markers, and phrases like 'Both of these points are legit it can be also harmless' create a disjointed flow. Pronoun referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as 'when childrens used to watch... they get awareness'. To improve, the writer should use a wider and more accurate range of cohesive devices and ensure each paragraph transitions smoothly into the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, with a heavy reliance on basic words and frequent errors in spelling and word form. For example, 'violance' is repeatedly misspelled, and words like 'harmfull', 'villans', and 'un meaningfull' show a lack of control over word formation. There are also noticeable errors in word choice, such as calling points 'legit' and using 'violance' as a verb substitute in places. These lexical errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the vocabulary range from being adequate for higher bands. Incorporating a broader range of precise vocabulary and mastering basic spelling will significantly strengthen this area.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response shows a very limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on long, run-on sentences connected by commas rather than proper coordination or subordination. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to grammar and punctuation errors that cause difficulty for the reader. Issues include subject-verb agreement problems ('Most of people belives', 'violance teaches then'), incorrect verb forms ('when childrens used to watch... they get awareness'), and missing punctuation. To achieve a higher score, the writer must incorporate a wider variety of grammatical structures while improving accuracy in basic sentence boundaries, verb tenses, and agreement.
