Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary society, the portrayl of violence in films, programmes had become the matter of debate. While some assume that the fictional violence is just portion of entertainment meanwhile, remaing audience perspect that it emphasis the aggressive and harmful behaviour in society. I assume although the particular content is for indivudual entertainment, to engage them or for creating strong story lines but still its harmful for vulnerable individuals espeacially children which intimate these actions into regular lives.
On the one hand, fictional violence and substantial imaginative content assist the audience to keep their interest and enage them in storey of particular play, film, drama etcetera. Strong storey lines with fictonal lessons, charcters and seens create suspense and audience appreciate these vocals more efficently. Like audience is found of tragic and sudden events in which sometimes vilian is defeated by hero or vilian is kidnaped moreover alliens take over the planets etcetera. Moreover it influences the crimes and injustices happening in society and create the sense of belongings for audience in addition they become more concious of social crimes. As for illustration, it creates awraness for unusual activities including social, economic injustice and faciliate audience to acquire knowledge of society.
On the other hand, fictional and voilence on screens is harmful for childerns and sensitive generations as sometimes there are imaginative stories which are not for reality and vulnerable audience looses there temper and starts reacting by considering it realistic. As for example by watching fights, crimes and such imaginative events childerns attain inspiration and implement these in their daily lives and start agressive behaviour and loses their reputation in society. Furthermore, it also effects the mental health and these events causes headacge, migrain and sleepness ehich leads to hazordous desaeses.
To pen down all this discussion, although fictional violence engage audience, and create strong storey lines its practical for parents keep there children away from sensitive content. As it accomapins agressive behaviour and uncondional attitudes which has long term impact on health and have several more consequences.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear overall position: fictional violence can entertain audiences, but you consider it harmful, particularly for children. The two main body paragraphs broadly match the opposing perspectives, and you include examples such as viewers following a hero-villain story and children imitating screen fights. However, some points are less fully explained or not clearly connected to the question. For instance, the claim that fictional violence raises awareness of social and economic injustice needs a specific explanation of how this happens. The health effects listed in the second body paragraph are also asserted rather than supported. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or relevant example, and make the distinction between entertainment value and encouragement of real violence more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your position. Signposting such as “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” helps readers follow the discussion. However, some connections between ideas are unclear or mechanical. In the first body paragraph, the move from suspense and storylines to social crimes and awareness is abrupt, and “Moreover” is used to introduce a point whose relationship to the previous one is not explained. Some references, including “these events” and “it,” do not always make their meaning clear. Group related ideas more carefully, use linking phrases to show the precise relationship between them, and ensure each pronoun has an unmistakable reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “vulnerable,” “aggressive behaviour,” “suspense,” and “mental health.” These choices show an effort to discuss both entertainment and possible social effects. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “portrayl,” “storey,” “vocals,” and “accomapins.” Some combinations are also unnatural or unclear, such as “sense of belongings” and “sensitive generations.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; using simpler words precisely is more effective than attempting an unsuitable expression. A wider set of accurate terms for imitation, influence, and audience appeal would also help you express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast structure in “although the particular content is for individual entertainment … but still its harmful” and a conditional idea about children reacting to what they watch. This gives the response some structural variety. However, several sentences contain errors in clause construction, agreement, articles, or punctuation that make the meaning less clear. For example, “the fictional violence is just portion of entertainment meanwhile” combines contrasting clauses without a clear grammatical structure, while “these events causes” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The opening sentence also needs a clearer verb construction. Practise building complex sentences with one clear main clause, and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during revision.
